would never buy another one. No way!

Always an issue with the escape! Air conditioner freezes up, The dealer couldn’t figure it out but through goggling and YouTube I figured out the problem. Even found a Ford technical bulletin on how to fix it! Sheridan Ford on Kirkwood Highway has the WORST service!!! That’s why i take my vehicles to Isaac’s Automotive. He fixes it right the first time!

2013 Ford Escape SEL

Car was purchased in 2013, but with 12,700 miles on it. No major issues at all from mid 2013 to now; I was initially concerned about the electric power steering, but it's never given any issues at all. I like the higher ease of comfort getting in and out of a small/intermediate sized SUV. The 2.0 liter turbocharged engine has been AWESOME; plenty of power and great gas mileage.

Ford escape review 2013

this has to be the worst Ford I have ever bought. I have owned a lot of fords but this one is junk. Too noisy too loud all it doesn't shift gears goes through brake pads like water on and on and on don't buy this car.

Good product

Excellent ride but too many safety recalls. Plenty of room and comfort. Smooth ride but when replacing tires steer clear of goodyear because of noise level from tires. Power is great with the ecoboost . Leg and head room are great.

Too many problems for a 2013

Way too many problems with this vehicle for it being a 2013 with less than 89,000 miles . Hopefully will trade in for newer or different vehicle soon.

nice Little CUV

The key is timely maintenance, top tier gas, and rev the 2liter turbo engine to burn out carbon deposits. 112,000mikes and the only repair was a water pump. Everything else was just maintenance. So far so good!

2013 Escape

We have a 2013 Escape and a 2018 Escape. We previously had a 2009 Mercury Mariner, the Mercury version of the Escape. All three have been fine vehicles with minimal service needs beyond the typical (tires, brakes, oil changes.)

Blind spots galore

Basic model 2013. Is super cute. It has great acceleration even with air conditioning on. Has no rear camera installed so blind spots are everywhere. Battery and coolant reservoir are under the wiper bonnet so costs more money to have a battery replaced. Coolant reservoir is under this windshield wiper bonnet as well. It requires a special corrugated funnel to reach back under it. That is horrible if your stuck on a freeway due to overheating.

I had been looking for a car and drove several others. The minute I sat in my Escape and the way I felt in the seat, I told my husband, this is it!!! It’s been 5 years and I still love it!!!

Quick, smart and functional

I’ve had a lot of cars in my 80 years, and this one is one of my favorites. The turbo engine and intelligent 4 wheel drive make it very practical for city driving and on wintry roads of Minnesota. Body design is attractive, and electronics are well done. Acceleration is amazing considering the relatively small engine. Ride is firm, and handling is responsive, although turning radius could be shorter. In my estimation, this is one of the nicer small SUV’s. Henry would be pleased.

GREAT , FUN CAR TO DRIVE. VERY COMFORTABLE FOR LONG DISTANCE DRIVING

GREAT STYLE CAN BE NICELY EQUIPTED WITH ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES. VERY GOOD GAS MILAGE AND PEPPY FOR A 4 CYL. 2.0 ECO BOOST ENGINE. ROOMY TO GO SHOPPING WITH. NICE VEHICLE STYLING INSIDE AND OUT PUT IT ON YOUR WISH LIST.

Love this car!

I have owned lots of cars over the years. I was actually a long time Honda owner for my entire driving life. When I test drove the Escape a few years back, I loved how it handled the road. It was quick, with great traction, and felt sporty. I was a devout CRV owner at one point, and considered another, but once I drove the Escape, I was a convert. I bought my Escape used with few miles, so I'm glad I have many more years of driving it.

Ford Escape

I chose this car because it was easy for me to get into and out of. I had very bad knees and this was a very important factor. Both pre and post operation was made easier because of the ease of access and also driving. I'm doing much better now that my surgery is in the past but I still appreciate the ease of living with my Escape

I bought my 2013 Escape new from Kirkland Ford . I was s long time Honda owner much to my fathers concern as he was a very strong Ford supporter and owner. So as I approached the purchase of a new car I decided to try a Ford. I loved the Escspe and how well I was treated at Kirkland Ford. For the First 3 years it was great but in the last 2 it has had several issues. Including the engine being replaced. Kirkland Ford has been great but in my 20 years of Honda ownership I had fewer problems than my last 2 with my Ford product.

Ford experience

We were never Ford fans until we got our Escape! I am the one who uses it the most and I love love love it! I also get quite a few compliments on it too! I would definitely purchase another one! I changed my opinion about Ford with this purchase!

2013 Ford Escape Titanium

I was never a Ford guy myself. But my wife wanted this car so we bought one. It was the first new body style change with the foot activation lift gate. Surprisingly, even with all the recalls, this car has been a trooper! I run this car fast and hard, also surprising, and it performs quite well I have to say. I've had body issues but never needed anything for the engine even once!! 5 yrs later this car still going strong like new, and yes, I still drive it like there's no tmrw! Overall, at least for the titanium version, I can attest that this cars performance has never let me down! Now, the 19" tires are pricey compared with the now 18" tires they changed to. A door is stuck which drives me crazy, but mostly, i cant complain about yhe car much, just the services at Ford is what issues I've run into on many occasions and the main reason I will not be buying another Ford. I also would Never buy the lower version SE model 1.6L engine which is plagued with recalls. Titanium or bust!

Ford experience

My husband and I were definitely not Ford people until we saw our 3013 Escape at Gronski's family dealership. Very sharp looking with many modern features and we absolutely love it! It feels so wonderful having a reliable vehicle! I can honestly say I would recommend a Ford Escape anytime to anyone!
