2013 Ford Escape. S

Love it. Almost can't stay out of it. The ride is smooth. It has enough room for family outings etc. I couldn't ask for more, except maybe another one for my daughter. .lol

Lemon

I hate this car! I've never felt that way about any car I've owned. Ford mechanic told me I needed a new water pump....wrong. I took it to a freind, really just to save money. The coolant resovoir was shattered and the seal was cracked. Um....no way to know if the pump has a problem bc it can't be tested dude!....it didn't. I was 3000 over warranty. Trying to discuss this with ford was like talking to a wall. This shouldn't have happened, the part was defective.....not their problem. Sometimes when I use the controls on the wheel to change the radio station the horn honks.....yeah, I did it several times to make sure it wasn't me. No, I haven't tried changing the station with the horn yet....next time :). Nothing but issues and a zillion recalls....and ford doesn't give a you know what! I never had this problem with my Kia, and it had way more power and turned on a dime. Can't wait to get out of this thing!

Gas tank is too small. Cannot go from St. Louis to Chicago on a full tank of gas.

Overall I think it's a great small SUV my daughter owns one and I think it's a very comfortable smooth riding car

Wonderful stylish, AWD vehicle with a focus on gas mileage.

A fun stylish vehicle that emphasis on gas mileage and Class! You can't go wrong with this rig!! There are so many extras inside that it leaves you lacking nothing!

Eco Boost poor MPG

Our 2013 Ford Escape with the eco boost does not get the advertised MPG. We average 24.5 MPG mostly highway. The best highway mileage we have ever got has been 27.7 MPG and that was measured on a straight Interstate run from gas station to gas station. yes we hand figured the millage. The computer was pretty close also within .1 to .2 of the hand figured millage. Overall the the care has been great except for the MPG. If you buy one don't waste your money on the eco boost. It is not worth the extra upcharge.

dont have the car took it back to you it was a lemon

Dont by a car at George GEE..I bought a Ford Escape from them and it was a lemon they took the car back and told us we had to buy a car there and I lost $2,000 in the deal so think twice before you go to George G

Being a older widow female. The satff make me feel they care.

I drive my car for my job daily. I have visit a lot of so called oil lube place, as well as automotive locations. None of these location are as courteous and professional as the staff at Johnson County Automotive. My appointment at 1pm was in and out within 20 - 30 minutes after I arrive for a oil change. I don't have time for their message chair in their lobby area. The staff don't attempted to sell me services / repairs that I don't need. I drive 35 mintues to Johnson County Automotive. Because they are the BEST!

2013 Ford Escape

I refer to my 2013 Escape as the "poor mans" luxury vehicle. It has many/most of the same feature of a much more expensive car, rides nice. It seems to be a very popular model car and there are many of them on the road.

Worst Vehicle I've Ever Owned

Have had problems with this car from the get-go. Everyone says it's either a lemon, or a Friday car. Either way, I am trading it in ASAP.

Great car that fits my needs

I needed a 4 wheeldrive car. We rented one in the desert and bought one when we came home in March 2013.

Good car

For a small vehicle it has a roomy interior. I'm 6'3" and I surprisingly fit just fine. The controls are easy to navigate and the handling and ride of the car is nice. Its quiet inside while driving which is a plus for a small car. The only thing that I can tell that I wish it had, was more storage compartments. The reverse camera is ok but the screen in the vehicle is in the rear view mirror which is hard to see or tell what you're looking at. The moon roof is nice and the electric shade is a great touch. I've already injoyed the electric lift hatch. Nice when your arms are full.
