Never owned a Ford until this car which started the first 28,000 as a rental car bought by Enterprise, liked it so much we bought another one from Enterprise same package different color, super car

Great car

My Focus has been a great fit for me. Very little maintenance needed.Think I'll kee it till the tires fall off.

What a fun car!

When I bought my 2013 Ford Focus ST I went to the dealer with every intention of buying a Ford Fusion (They are great cars that I have had the pleasure of renting many , many times over the last 4 years) Then I took the ST out for a test drive.... that did it.... I have been thru my Porsche Phase, my BMW M3 phase.... spending lots and lots of money.... This car still gives me the excitement for a fraction of cost.

Unhappy

The 2013 model of the Focus has the dual transmission. It is horrible to deal with. I’ve had 2 clutch’s put in and was told it will never be right. It has the jerking when you start up. The interior has not held up at all. There was a class action suit filed against Ford because of the problem with the car.

170k miles, everithing original and still going

had the car for 5 years from 70k to 170k with zero repairs and still going , now i have a challenge to see how far it will go with no repairs and how far it will go with its original engine and transmission(oil change at every 7k). The interior is basic. The car was bought after a big accident and still managed to make it to 170k miles, a good value for the money.

Any question?

Awesome road car, gets you into traffic and has the speed to do it. Getting close to breaking in the engine at 44k miles, getting close to 40 mpg.

Reliable, good transportation

My 2013 Focus hatchback has been to Florida, Charleston, Hilton Head, Raleigh, Lancaster, and all over the Carolina coast. All separate trips. I actually get an honest 36.5 mpg overall mileage between highway and city driving. I had one problem with the wobble plate in the transmission. It took over a month to get the part in for replacement, but I was still able to drive it during the wait. After replacement, it has been fine ever since. I will always buy Fords. Our company has about 20 Ford trucks and they are reliable.
