Good

I love the vehicle but some services are expensive,we love the performance and the reliability ,we love driving it ,it is fun to drive and we are looking forward to buy another Hyundai Accent in the future.

Lower cost general use town vehicle

Wife bought this new, w/o any family thought, or any thought at all for that matter, and paid sticker price. But it is fairly decent; but not stellar in any category (gas mileage etc) except turning radius and parking. It is best as an in town shuttlecraft?~ The main thing that is a thumbs down, is that you are supposed to have the timing belt changed at 60 K., ?

My 2009 Hyundai Accent was a good investment

After 13 years of ownership, and 89000+ miles, I can report the car as reliable and a good value. I have had very minor repair expenses, with the exception of my last incident. The dealership gave terrible service, a bad diagnostic, and tried to rip me off to buy my car for pennies on the dollar. I would not recommend having repairs done by a Hyundai dealership.

It is a good go to work car

It's not a thing of beauty, but it isn't ugly either. It does what I bought it for, to go back and forth to work. It gets lower fgas mileage than I had hoped for, but it's ok. Had one or two weird things go wrong, like the gas gause not working.

Meh

It drives, it's comfortable enough, but the weird impossible to reach holes and crevices surrounding the front seats are filled with debris because I can't even get a vacuum into some of the tighter spaces. Also, the ceiling light is flimsy, the speaker system is weak at best, and somehow my catalytic converter blew up at around 36,000 miles. Also, that big removable flap in the trunk is more trouble than it's worth.

Snow

This is not a car that is good in the snow. It is great with gas but if you need to travel a lot for work and tou live in a place that gets snow I would not recommend this car. Also not good on hills in snow. Good thing is it does have side airbags.

Brakes not upto standards

Braking hard the brakes slip & don't grip, plus suspension parts get worn out alot
