It's too rough a ride. The visability around is not very good, I'm never sure where I am when I park, how far away from the other guy I am. I love the color (light blue).

As above. Very rough ride. Can't see well where the car is in relation to other cars. This survey is a pain! I already said what I want to say. It keeps bouncing back to me to write more (200 characters). I'm never going to do one again.

2012 Accent

My 2012 Accent has been a reliable car. Bought off of a lease and had some interior damage but overall it is a decent daily driver. It serves well as a commuter car and is easy to park. Has 14" tires and while those are cheaper they can be harder to find.

NIce Little Sedan

Very inexpensive to operate. There is some road noise and the backseat roof is too low to accommodate tall relatives.. I'm sorry i don't have anything else to say.it's not fair that this thing needs at least 200 characters.

Not a quality vehicle

Don’t buy a Hyundai, they are throw away cars. Do your research.

Gas and oil consumption is inefficient and costly

The 2012 Hyundai Accent was a poor purchase. The gas mileage is very, very poor; Hyundai falsified the mpg. Additionally, my vehicle is now burning oil at a very fast rate....only get 1,000 miles driving for 2 months after an oil change. Both are huge issues in unforseen cost. Plus the trade-in value is worthless.

Not great car

I bought this car new and it has mysteriously leaked oil forever and never been found. It doesn’t even close to come to the mpg noted and despite being paid for the difference of 1 mpg I find that dissatisfied because it never got 39 either. In reality this car is more like 36 and is less fuel efficient than some larger cars. The maintenance costs are low and I haven’t had trouble with it. The streaming wheel is wearing out which is inexcusable for a 2012. The leather started wearing thru in around 2015 and now it looks pretty bad. The switches that work the windows wear out kinda often but cheap to fix if you can do it yourself. Overall it’s been an ok car and cheap to maintain. If they still sold this car I’d likely buy it again for less. The new ones are all bells and whistles and crap I don’t want. This car was fully loaded for its model year but it has no thrills and that I appreciate.

burns gas and oil (more than normal)

My vehicle does not good gas mileage and it burns oil between oil changes. The car was not worth the purchase price. The car gas mileage is very poor and the car’s oil light comes on between oil changes. I bought the car brand new and this is not normal.

Not pleased

I will most likely not be buying another Hyundai. After 60 thousand miles, almost EXACTLY when my warrantee expired my engine timing got off and had to be updated which cost me 200 dollars AND my crank shaft position sensor failed and had to be replaced at 500 dollars. There is also a short in my computer board that will cost me 2000 to replace, something im not willing or able to do. Overall, I'm not pleased with the car and will not be investing in another Hyundai car.

Not impressed

Hyundai has a common issue on vehicles once they hit 60k miles which causes the vehicle to accelerate without the driver pushing the pedal. So far only know of a temp fix which is to reset the ECU.

Poor visibility, transmission issues, expensive tires.

I bought this car because it had great MPG and safety ratings, and did not break the bank. Shortly after purchasing, I learned that the MPG rating was misrepresented, I realized the visibility was seriously terrible, and worse the engine started having issues that have yet to be fixed because it is on and off. The engine started slipping randomly and my acceleration declined. I’ve had issues with the electricity when my doors wouldn’t lock and my back window kept rolling down on its own and wouldn’t roll back up.

Better ask about the warranty

I was lied to and the warranty doesn't cover important parts. Very unhappy. I was promised a loaner car and they never called for me to pick it up. The service manager is rude and the service writer Bob tells you exactly what he wants you to hear.
