i love my car, but after three years my engine light keeps coming on but they never find the problem, every so often, then goes back off, never get to find out why?

There is no rattling or squeaking - but there is a lot of road noise on the highway. It's a good car to run around town or a quick trip to the beach.

So far a reliable car

Never had a Hyundai before, but after 4 years have been pleasantly surprised by the reliability. Have not had any serious mechanical issues. Just an occasional tire pressure monitor malfunction and occasional A/C weird odors. Gas mileage was famously misrepresented by Hyundai, but it is still pretty good. It is a bit under-powered, and the road noise is a tad loud, but works perfectly as my commuter car. Considering getting a higher class Hyundai sedan in the future.

Great car shame about the shortfalls

Unacceptable that Hyundai sells this car w/o extra tire kit also the air conditioning/heater feature for feet does not really work (air keeps coming out of regular ventilation grills rather than from underneath the dashboard)

Accent

When I bought my 2012 Hyundai Accent there were a lot of other black, 4 door hatchbacks on the road. At least 5 friends thought it was a Prius. I just wanted a car with good mileage. When it was discovered that the promoted MPG wasn't what was promised, Hyundai gave a gas mileage reimbursement for the lifetime of my ownership. Now I discovered that the company is no longer honoring their commitment. What's up with that?

Jack of all trades, master of none.

Attractive, well rounded little car. Not the absolute best of any specific measure, but arguably the best blend. Good gas mileage but not the most impressive for the segment. I am most impressed by the cargo hold of the hatchback, which is as big in volume as the larger Elantra, a nice hat trick.

Certifierd cars in the used car lot that are up for resale.

This car in such a short time since I purchased it, had the complete rear brakes repaired, the Right side tie rod assembly replaced, and the front wheel bearings replaced. After that a front wheel alignment was completed.
