Love My Accent!

I've had my Accent almost a year now and love it! It has "get up and go" and it easy to maneuver, not to mention great on gas mileage! It's very spacious, love the drop-down back seats and large trunk.

2016 Accent is lacking a few things. e.g. need a key to open the trunk. And it has no spear tire.

Like the car, but .... not the self locking when driving in the snow... I prefer to handle the car myself without the car thinking for me.

I like having a car with automatic but able to switch into 1st 2nd 3rd drive, neutral, etc .... I prefer having a place in the trunk for a tire....extra

Some areas of improvement for senior citizen

Doors sound loud when closing Blind spot when I back up over seats, vision obstructed Automatic Lock when key in ignition, can't open with a second key Back seats high, impairs vision also have to be careful that leaving the key in the ignition, prevents opening, as it seems to self lock. And so, I try to be careful.

Great economy car

Overall I am satisfied with my Accent, except for the rattle of the rim covers , sounds bad, like an old jalopy. Also, on the key fob there is no button to open the trunk, kinda feel short-changed on that issue.

compre el vehiculo en septiembre de 2016, hasta ahora a funcionado bien. solo en una ocasion se daño la caja de velocidades automatica y me la reemplazaron completa, solo estuve 10 dias sin vehiculo. actualmente tengo 7500 millas y el vehiculo funciona bien. espero que continue asi por mucho tiempo. el vehiculo es muy comodo por dentro, es espacioso.

2016 Hyundai accent

Generally a solid car. Previously drive a Honda Fit and this was several thousand less and had some advantages.... Slightly bigger, better final gear ratio in 6th (manual) so lower RPM at highway and it had CD, USB and aux input which I wanted. The low not quite as solid as the fit, not as good a gas mileage.

2016 Hyundai Accent

This year's models have better color options. I love my dark blue hatchback! It's a simple car with all of the great features that more expensive brands have. I have power windows and locks, cruise control, satellite radio, CD player and optional Bluetooth without breaking the bank. It handles well and is easy to park in tight spots. Smooth ride and a great bumper-to-bumper warranty!
