2018 Hyundai Accent

Purchased a 2018 Hyundai Accent. So far I enjoy the car. Smooth ride, has done well in some severe storms we've had recently. Engine does stumble a bit when I accelerate out of stops/near stops. USB connection does make the bluetooth pairing a little wonky. Outside of those "issues" the car is great.

It is a good car. Rides good and great gas mileage. It needs map app on it. The trunk has a lot of space. Went on a 20 day trip and put three suitcases in it. We averaged fourth one miles to the gallon of gas. It does need a phone jack in back. Great car

Engine

I am pleased overall with the car. I should had done more research on the engine. The acceleration when pulling into traffic from a stop is bad. On occasion there is a gas smell. Both have been addressed with the dealer.

My experience with Hyundai Accent

Good, inexpensive car for commuting to work and errands. Could be a lot better if slight tweaks were done to the rear styling and the engine was tuned up and the gearing wasn't geared more towards limiting fuel consumption

Dependable. Efficient. Affordable. Accent.

This car is reliable as it it affordable. Pair that with an above average fuel efficiency considering it's not a hybrid and you have a decent deal. While it may lack luxury, it makes up for it with its general reliability. All in all it's a great vehicle, especially as a burner, and a decent starter vehicle for new drivers.

Improvements that could be made to Accent

I am basically very happy with me 2018 Accent. Only disappointment after purchasing was finding out that Blue Tooth was not hands free and it did not have heated side mirrors. I feel these are tow important Safety features. I had traded in a 2009 Elantra that had both of these features 10 years ago was expecting these same items would be available 10 years later. I know I didn't purchase the most expensive model but as I stated these seems to be safety items in my opinion.

Great gas milage. Better looking than other cars in this segment. Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Stylish look. Decent ride and comfortable seats. A lot of car for a little bit of money. 100,000 mile warranty.

Hyundai Quality

The 1997 Hyundai Elantra was owned almost 14 years. The best car I had. Technology is great on this 2018 Accent. Reviews are hard for me. I need a hybrid car. It is good to have reliable transportation.

A good little car for the money

I bought my car new, and so for it's been a really good car for the money, the styling is nice and you get good features for what you pay for. The performance is good for such a small car and the interior is very nice.

We like the looks and economy of this vehicle. Great price. Please do not have an airbag recall. That is why I don't by Toyota Corolla anymore, I don't have much more to say, but I will type words just to make it over 200.

Not enough space

I wish there was more space and as well as a arm rest. The glove compartment isn't really that spacious. Also the tire pressure signal should tell you which tire has the issue and possibly why. Other than that I have no complaints about my vehicle. I do hope that you all will make these changes one day

2018 Hyundai Accent by Charles Green

Acceptable, sluggish, but ok performance. Great gas mileage. Styling is ugly, but not as ugly as the 2017 model. that model looked like it came from the factory full of dents. The 2018 grill looks like a bass fish mouth and the rear looks like a cheep star wars prop. But the car is less ugly than most others in the class and again better than the prior model. The interior although cheep is acceptable and the electronics package is very good

Lots of tech, stiff ride

Limited edition has lots of great features, however the ride is a little stiff. You feel every crack on the street and the vent for the feet keeps blowing slightly even when the setting is for front only. After one year of use and not even 7000 miles, there's rattling noise coming from head console when driving over cracks on streets.

I Like the fuel and good gas mileage , and it's fun to drive ! What I don't like is the remote built into the key isn't good ! Even when me and my wife where over 40+ feet away the trucked has popped open during a rain storm and everything in our trunk got wet ! I've been over 100 feet away and the truck has opened ! I've also been 4 floors up in 4 story building and my truck has open up ! I've asked the dealership about it ! And then said maybe somehow someone pushed on it ! I don't like the key built into the remote ! Also now my windows from the inside take longer to defrost cause of the water damage I got from the truck opening up ! And I don't like the Sport shiftier it's popped to sport mode too easy when I'm driving ! But I like the speed of 2018 Accent and it seems roomer then the 2015 Accent we had !This is the only car i've owned where I had so many issues ..In the future I think this will be my last car ! I'll be buying a 4x4x Truck cause i'm 6-8 ..

Hyundai accent

It is a great commuter car. Has a lot of nice extras. Not very family friendly as the A/C doesn't reach the back and takes forever to get cold. Other than that it is very reliable. It is an everyday driver for me at over 140 miles a day. Great gas mileage!

It does the job! Happy with this cute car.

Sure I wanted a Honda, because it's what I'm used too. But I could not afford it and looked to Hyundai. This is the lowest end car they have on the lot, but guess what? It's doing a very good job for me. Looks great, drives very well and I've had no problems at all. The dealership was nice to me too. This car is cute, easy on gas and looks as good as a Honda, in many ways. I still want a Honda, but I'm sticking with my Hyundai Accent. If it's not broke, I'm keeping it!
