Great car and no problems after 120,000 miles

This is the first car that I have owned for 120,000 miles and ten years. My Buick had a transmission failure just after the warranty expired at 63,000 miles, my Nissan Murano had a steering problem at 45,000 miles and I had several other cars that had a variety of issues. Repairs were always in the thousands. This car has had no problems. Regular maintenance has kept it running smoothly. I did replace tires, brakes, timing belt, spark plugs, a light bulb, battery, oil and filters. I transport my bikes with a self-installed tow bar, my kayaks on the cross bars, a full load of furniture or plants, mulch and soil in the large storage area in the back. I keep getting trade-in offers for a pittance, no thanks. I think this car can do another 120K miles.

Good Fit

As evidenced by previous purchases and total mileage on my 2007 (200,000) it is a good fit - seats are comfortable lots of room to haul "stuff" - size works for me. Gas mileage is not good - 20 MPG. Gas gauge has never worked properly since purchase....just have to watch the "trip mileage" or run out of gas.

My Santa Fe

I have to replace the accelerator switch, Gearshift switch, gasoline monitor, switch, two front seat switches, and 3 batteries in 8 years. It has been costly.

2007 is a fabulous Santa Fe model! BUT I'm not going to buy the newer model

I love my 2007 Santa Fe. It has just passed 100K miles and has been a joy to drive. The best feature is the acceleration to get onto the highway easily. My beige leather seats have held up amazingly well even with many kids in the back seat. I rented a 2016 Hyundai this summer and was shocked by the small windows. Then, I test drove a 2017 Santa Fe last week and will not be buying one due to the windows which are so small a person can not use the driver window to access an ATM or drive thru window.

COMFORTABLE AND DEPENDABLE

We have had our Santa Fe for more than ten years without any major problem. The service staff at Edmond Hyundai has kept me informed about what needs to be done at given times and they do the needed work in a timely manner. I have been very satisfied with the Santa Fe and the people at Edmond Hyundai.

Perfect for us.

2007 Santa Fe has been a perfect vehicle for my wife and me. During its 155,000 mile lifetime it has required little attention other than regular maintenance. Nothing has ever put it out of service at an inconvenient time.

You'll Not Be Disappointed

After looking at other vehicles at several other dealerships, I thought they were "ok." Then I opened the door of a Santa Fe at the Hyundai dealership and went, "Wow, I think this is going to be the one." Eye-catching interior, more for the money, features that I wanted. This vehicle has been parked in my garage for nearly 10 years with nothing but normal, scheduled service. No problems. New tires, new brakes, oil changes and other normal maintenance is all. I'm not a fan of leather seats so chose the champagne-colored fabric. I have dropped lipstick on it and somehow gotten some black grease on it. It cleans up easily and you'd have no idea that those accidents ever occurred. Seats look like new. I have a good vehicle and a good dealer for service. I would buy another Santa Fe in a heartbeat.

2007 Santa Fe 6 cy.

I am the original owner. Current mileage is 142k Front wheel drive My out of pocket expenses in the past 9 years are minimal out side of the normal things tires, brakes etc I followed the guidelines to keep my warranty current. In 9 years I have had only 2 days where I was unable to use my SUV. This Santa Fe is a wonderful size with lots of load space. Everything on this vehicle works just like the day I bought it. Comfortable ride, good visibility, great heat and AC.
