Hyundai Santa Fe

Comfortable riding good gas mileage. Voice recognition for hands free failing is a problem and brake sensors seem to be a chronic problem. Had to replace 2 sets within first year of ownership.

2012 Hyundai Sante Fe

Feel very safe with all the air bags, hopefully they will never be deployed! Rear bumper paint flakes off with just a bump. A standard rubber pad on the flat part may save it or a better paint job! Other than that one thing I absolutely love this vehicle!

We love the Santa Fe

Operationally ALL good, reliable, VERY comfortable. Feel safe driving the car. The bad, rear left qtr panel was poking out in one spot, seemed unattached. Took it in was told that severl little"clips" had failed. These clips could NOT be repaired. The entire panel would have to be replaced. Of course this would be big cost. Worse this was NOT covered by warranty. After owning three new Hyndai/Kia autos I have reached the conclusion that the hyped warranty is not anything special at all. Everything that may fail seems to be NOT covered. I love the cars but the warranty is absolutely nothing extraordinary and pretty misleading.

Have high mileage so have had mechanical issues. Any Car will be this way. Really enjoy traveling and working out of the vehicle.

Love My SUV Except...

I love my SUV Except I had to buy winter tires because it doesn't SWITCH into all wheel drive fast enough. Also does not get the Gas mileage claimed I'm the original owner. But love the overall vehicle.

King Of The Road...Well...Sort Of

This make and model may not have all the bells and whistles of a BMW, Cadillac, or Lincoln, but it holds its own for the class it's in. The weight distribution is perfect over the axles; and one trip through the snow will prove it. The dashboard is easy to read and use. There are several accessories I don't have to clutter the driver's view. But for the value, it's adequate. The only sad part of the vehicle is the small engine. The 4-cylinder works hard for its money. Fortunately, there are 6 speeds to the transmission that helps the little horse mill.

Performance and comfort are Key

This has been a nice vehicle with good performance. The only issue I have is the tires that come with the vehicle. I maybe could have gotten 45,000 miles out of them, but had to change them at 33,000. They should be putting higher rating tires at least in the 65,000 range. That would make the customer feel better about the vehicle. Not too impressed with Bridgestone tires. You can't praise the advisers enough that Hyundai provides.
