Road noise

Love the car. Miss the back window that your could open. Hate the road noise. So bad that you have trouble hearing when on your phone.

Performance and comfort are Key

This has been a nice vehicle with good performance. The only issue I have is the tires that come with the vehicle. I maybe could have gotten 45,000 miles out of them, but had to change them at 33,000. They should be putting higher rating tires at least in the 65,000 range. That would make the customer feel better about the vehicle. Not too impressed with Bridgestone tires. You can't praise the advisers enough that Hyundai provides.

Better than my 2000 model

I didn't realize how bad the seats were in my previous vehicle was until I got this one. 100% improvement. The single issue I have had is the battery. It had faulty wiring and it was replaced with no charge. I don't plan on getting another vehicle until this one just stops running and I truly do not expect that to happen for a very long time.

Nice car and solid features

Overall this vehichle is very nice. After owning it a short period and noticing paint peeling off roof parts, went online and i see it's a problem overall for the brand. I'm a stickler for little things and this had me wishing i would have bought a CRV where i know quality rules. The six cylinder gets poor gas mileage. If your not towing anything get the four cylinder for much better mileage. I like the limited package for leather and all the bells and whistles. I like the car, just not best in class.

Love my Santa Fe!

We did not buy this new and we are very happy with it. The one only thing that we are disappointed about is the interior. It is leather I thing but it is peeling and cracking. I don't thing it is suppose to do that. So I question if it is real leather.

Hyundai Santa Fe

We love our car. I have only one complaint: At the night, the headlights throw light only to a certain point in front of the car, at which point, there's a very definite line between light and darkness. It's almost like you're driving under a bowl. I'm not sure what it is about the design of the headlamps that causes this. Other than that, the car is great! We especially appreciate the ample leg room in the front passenger side.

Very Reliable

I have enjoyed the Santa Fe the last 5 years. Good ride, plenty of room, and has been very reliable. (Knock on wood) My one complaint is the lack of lights on the dash in the daytime. Many times it's hard to read. Good gas mileage for a 6 cylinder.

Its a nice size SUV. I like the safety features i have. I wish the suspension would soak up bumps better. The acceleration is good for the 4 cyl. I would consider another SantaFe in the future.

Great Vehicle - Nice SUV

We bought the SUV new, and find it to be a great vehicle for hauling items as well as driving !!! It requires little maintenance, and the engine oil changes are easy to do yourself (I especially like that the engine oil filter is on the top of the engine!). My only concerns are the 'tinny' door sound when a door is closed (probably not coated on the inside), and the rattle when you first start-up the engine (valve clatter). It runs well, has great visibility, and handles well.

2012 Santa Fe. Give it 4 out of 5

Bought this car to replace a pick up.. It's been a good workhorse for both travelling and hauling stuff, amazing how much we can get in it. Put on quite a few miles the first few years, have eased up in recent years as we have another SUV for our long haul work. Factory warranty was reliable although very few issues. Worst experience was a poor mechanic on one occasion left oil filter lose. One other problem that we cant isolate is the occasional squeak from the steering column. Dealer has spent many hours trying to find it. Once after a power steering service squeak went away for over a year. Returned recently. I have owned a lot of vehicles and rate this one very highly especially as value for money.

We're enjoying our Santa Fe! Recommend to anyone, the storage space is great, like the silver Hyundai with gray interior, easy road handling too. I don't have any more to say, it's a great vehicle and doesn't need me to tell everyone!

Love it

Great small SUV. V6 with all wheel drive is necessary for my family and thus car has it for less than most in its class. Only con is there is not enough leg room in the back seat. My 4 year old is already kick my elbow from the middle position because his legs won't fit with all the other tall people in the front seats because they have to be pushed back to their max position to drive properly. Make the back seat larger and I'm in for life!
