2013 Santa Fe Limited
I purchased my Santa Fe Limited at the time when Hyundai completely revamped the Santa Fe model line. I was very impressed with the revamped model, especially in comparison with the prior generations. The 2013 Santa Fe Limited implements a modern look with smooth subtle curvatures on the vehicle body. The 6-passenger vehicle with dual rear captain chairs and concealable third row was a great fit during my hunt for a new vehicle. The large panoramic glass roof, heated front seats, mobile startup, and heated steering wheel are also great amenities. The interior of vehicle was well engineered, especially for the cockpit controls and rear cargo space/third row conversion. I purchased the silver body with brown leather interior, which gained many compliments. The one thing that was misleading (during my purchasing experience with the Hyundai sales rep) is the optional roof rack assembly for my 2013 model--which, I've learned is not available.
So fast forward 44 months...the vehicle is still riding smooth and handling is still good. I've experienced problems with the electronics, specifically the motorized driver seat recliner and backup camera which both became faulty and non-functional. Good thing, these are under warranty and I plan to get them replaced once the parts arrive at the dealership. Overall, the Santa Fe Limited is a good-to-great vehicle. It rides smooth similar to a car, in lieu of a SUV. The available amenities are great benefits to consider when comparing to other SUV's and higher level makes. I do recommend this vehicle and would give it five stars if the electronics did not falter.
