Warrantee service

I had a recall, then my seat malfunctioned, followed by a malfunctioning backup sensor. I had Vera Cruz with no issues at all and more cargo space. I miss my Vera Cruz.

Great car, great value

The Santa Fe is well designed, stylish, fun to drive and good handling. Gas mileage is above satisfactory, especially on highways. Comfortable ride on town streets, highways and rural roads. Cargo area is sizeable and makes a roomy space for two Golden Retrievers. Adding a roof rack made transporting bicycles a breeze. Interior easy to maintain and clean.

Good looking exterior, interior very roomy and comfortable. Controls are easy to read and functionable. Feature content is good. Fuel economy(converted to synthetic oil) has been better than EPA average.

VSC - Very Satisfied Customer

I am very satisfied with the comfort, handling and operation of the vehicle. The only issue of concern is the sensitivity of the key fob. It occasionally opens the tailgate when the key fob is in my pocket, even from some distance from the vehicle.

Voice Recognition is unusable

This is the fourth Hyundai we have owned. This is the first one to dissatisfy me. The voice recognition can recognize my voice about 20% of the time. Basicly useless. Then in Hyundai's great wisdom they tried to protect me from myself and locked out manual address entry while in Drive. Navigation system is difficult to use because of the above issues. The Premium sound system which is part of the nav system doesn't remember what sound source your were using. I listen to music on USB drive or CD's because Sirius radio is way overpriced. If I switch from the USB media screen to any other screen or turn the radio off, then back on or switch screens, I have to select which source over and over. Stupid design flaw that could be easily fixed with a firmware update. Because of the shortcomings of the nav and radio system my wife bought a Subaru instead of a Hyundai.
