Disatisfied

No satisfied with my Santa Fe as it will not always start, especially during cold weather and flashes up a batter warning signal each time I cut the engine off. I like the vehicle , except for the fact that it is malfunctioning and not dependable at this time.

hyundai santa fe 2018

I drove a Hyundai Genesis for approximately 7 years and it was very difficult to switch from a sedan to a SUV. The total comfort and reliability does not fully compare for value paid. Noiw with either an engine and/or transmission issue while in cruise control I am now concerned about SUV reliability

Pretty good but not as good as the Veracruz

Ride is smooth, seems to hold track in wind without steering issues. Comfortable seating, would highly recommend We were told and thought we were buying the model with all the a/c in the seat here in Florida. We were told we were buying the model with all the features but when we got home and started to investigate found out that some were missing, eg. automatic braking and lane warning. Blue link is a waste of time as it was not set up correctly by the dealer and they can't seem to correct it. tried to call California number and sent documents to them that they requested but still could not get it to work from my smart phone so unless you need it, don't bother.

2018 Santa Fe

Potentially the car I selected and my opinions and experience does not apply to all Santa Fe models. The Santa Fe Ultimate Limited seems to be making noises in rear shock, brakes do not seem to have strong stopping power. Need to press brakes all the way to the floor. Wiper blades did not work well. If car was purchased used it would be understandable to have these issues but bought new with only 500 miles and already having several issues does not give me confidence the car will be durable/reliable. Without these problems, the car rides smooth and has great tech safety package.

OverRated!

Good sized SUV, but for what it costs, it needs to have a more luxurious feel. It doesn't. It's an OK vehicle designed for careless owners who happen to have money to burn. I will keep this vehicle for a couple of years, take the loss and buy something with a better feel for the kind of price Hyundai is getting away with. It's not a Merc, it's not a BMW, it's not a Ford Explorer. It's something a bit less. It's overrated!

Low Profile tire issues

Have low profile tires that came with my new vehicle and found there are unique problems related to these tires. Disappointed in my experience in dealing with this issue. Shouldn't have to deal with problems related to tires. Also was disappointed in response from customer service . Selling dealer had to pay for rotating and balancing on initial service visit . Was told this wasn't covered under warranty .After 2 more visits and road force balancing of tires twice it was determined that tires we causing .On fourth visit tires were finally replaced but again warranty was an issue. Selling dealer had to guarantee payment as tires being covered under warranty was in question.

Santa Fe

The suspension for the Santa Fe is terrible when the car when it has more than four people in it. It bottoms out and breaks and handles horribly. I do not why they would make a seven passenger car and not design it to handle and break properly when it is at full capacity.

It is an ok car . Not my favorite . It is noisy and I don’ Like how it shifts . Rough ride, not smooth. Like the Bluetooth. Don’t like the slide for phone or radio. It is hard to slide to the right station or phone number . Need to have a trunk release inside

everything about vehicle was fine . engine failed at 8000 miles. 2nd santa fe owned. all options on vehicle are good, no problems, inside or out. not crazy about the gps with android phone use only.

This vehicle is Average at best. Will not buy again. Bought because of great discounts and 5-year warranty, Noisy, resale value is very disappointing, limited number of dealerships, No match for Toyota or Honda.

Average. I am afraid to drive this car every time I take it out. It rumbles, engine makes noise. It stopped in the middle on a freeway all of a sudden. Hyundai charged me for towing though it is still under warranty.

Good performance but poor fuel mileage

Not a bad car overall except for the inability to see out of the mirrors but if you never change lanes it won't be a issue just roll the window down and stick your head out and look beside the car when you need to change lanes and hope nobody stops suddenly in front of you!

I like the car. Though gas mileage is poor, no wireless navigation, and auto start is hard to operate. Opening to the back should be wider. These are all things I didn't realize till I drove it for a while.

Good for around town driving, not so suv

Clearance is lower than expected. Acceleration leaves more to be desired unless in turbo mode. Cabin noise is terrible with the windows open. cargo space is way smaller than 2007 model. There was a lack of confidence driving in bad conditions and off road that i never felt in the 2007.

A Nice SUV . . . Not a Great SUV

Overall I am satisfied with our purchase decision, but not overly Impressed. Hyundai did a lot of things very well with this design (V6 Engine, Great Technology, Quality, Performance, Handling, Cargo Capacity, 3rd Row Passenger Seat, Fuel Economy, Styling, number of Features for the money), but they also missed-the-mark from my perspective on some Core Values such as (Cabin wind-noise @ highway speed is too loud, A/C in middle row is totally ineffective above 80 degrees, Front Passenger seat is not as comfortable, or as adjustable, as the Driver side front seat, center console armrest placement is too far back to be comfortable and is not adjustable) My other vehicle is a GMC Acadia. Overall the Acadia easily wins the "Creature Comfort" category, and Hyundai wins Technology for the Money. Too bad I can't merge them into a Hyuncadia, or a Acadai .

Car is built well .I'm not happy with the ride or power .also it had some damage on door panel that dealer wont fix not happy with my dealership car feels like my tusan even though I upgraded expected more
