2018 Santa Fe AWD 2.0 Turbo

Fun to own and drive, gas tank is to small needs better range all else good. Last car was 2011 Sonata Limited was a great car . Traded in at 75000 mile and going strong. Hopefully this car lives up to the last.

Does what you want

This SUV does almost everything I ask of it well. It has the features we wanted and offers a good blend of comfort and convenience. The size if just right. Not too big or too small. When the time comes I will consider getting another one.

Great family car

Great vehicle! Drives great, has a good sized cabin, easy to enter and exit the vehicle. Backseat is wide, and allows for a snug fit of 3 adults. Cargo area has ample room for family gear, groceries.

7 passenger Sante Fe

Meets the needs of my family and has been a very reliable vehicle in all sorts of weather. Reasonable on fuel consumption for a large SUV. Heated steering wheel was a big plus this winter and the ability to remote start the vehicle on cold mornings was always a positive feature.

Comfortable, well-made SUV perfect for driving around town, but there's a big problem with hesitation when accelerating hard

Love everything about this loaded car EXCEPT for the hesitation when accelerating hard, i.e., entering the freeway, passing, etc. Hoping Hyundai addresses this common problem with a satisfactory remedy.

reliable and good performance

I dont love it, i dont hate it, it is good for now. Gas milage is good. Interior is a bit disappointing in storage and ability to clean. The outside is very average and sometimes hard to find in parking lot because several cars have a very similar profile.

Stylish look; great comfort

This car is classy, rides well, great warranty, and options are great. I was able to add or pick a package to upgrade. This is a great get around town car, easy to park, easy to get in and out of. Good for kids or older ppl. The ease and height of the car is perfect.

Overall Safety, extras included in the price, performance - very competitive. Most other vehicles require upgrades for what you automatically get in a Hyundai. The Santa Fe is the right size not too small and not too large to navigate in a busy city.

Turbo is required with this engine, for horsepower, however the turbo, from a dead stop, overpowers first gear, when accelerating quickly, causing possible loss of control. Bad in emergency situations. Gas mileage is poor for a 4 cylinder engine. Suv rides smoothly and handles well in snow and summer. The AWD helps keep the suv secure and stable when driving in snow. Exterior looks are great, for the sporty version. It’d be nice to have more styling options. Interior is nice, but could use more legroom in the back. Rear heated seats are a plus for the kids! Need more than one, single USB port in the front. There are none in the back. Rear seats being able to tilt helps. Rear storage compartments are nice too! I like having a spare wheel. Blind spot notification is invaluable! Good price for the money! We like the 360 degree view for parking, but miss front sensors on the suv. Open-roof option is nice to have too! Cooled seats are good to have but do not cool down much. Lower-driver lumbar support needs to move up and down, to better support drivers back!

Love the size of the vehicle and the number of passengers you can carry. I like the space that you have to be able to haul even bigger items. I use the handless phone feature often. I would highly recommend this vehicle.

I had to replace my 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. I purchased a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. I was so impressed with the quality of my 2010 that I knew for sure that I would not purchase anything other than another Santa Fe.

High End Style at an Affordable Price

The 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe SE base model comes with more features than other competitive SUVs. In addition to being AWD, the technology systems that support the car maintenance, safe usability, audio & visual systems make this a true luxury vehicle priced very affordably. Now I can seat 7 and still have some cargo room. The V6 engine provides great pick-up. I feel proud to be driving this car.
