Lag

While raising speed to 40MPH I can notice a lag while shifting automatic gear from lower speed to higher speed. I have verified user manual but could not found any information. The informed dealer also. But not received the satisfactory result.

Nice Mid-sized SUV Upgrade

We upgraded from a Equinox LT, to a 2018 Santa Fe, and found the extra cargo space, third row seating a nice upgrade for our trips to winter in Florida. The Santa Fe also offered AWD and a six cylinder engine to help with winter driving and 5,000 pounds towing capacity for towing our boat in the summers in Minnesota, Overall it met most of our expectations as an upgrade, at a reasonable price with decent gas mileage.

My first Hyundai

For my first Hyundai I'm very pleased. It makes going to work enjoyable. I can almost do 2 weeks of driving on one tank, I do wish it had a bigger gas tank to get a 500 mile range. Radio and AC are great, though I wish there was better Bass. My seat heater doesn't work so it will have to go in and be looked at. I'll know in a few months how the heat does but summer in SC lasts a while.

Just Misses a Five Star Rating

Amazing leg and cargo room for the vehicle size. Excellent handling and fuel economy. Just lacking a few "standard feature's" you would expect on this trim level. missing are adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, rain seeing wipers/headlight's and a text message integration feature.

2018 Santa Fe Sport first impressions

With the end of year rebates, this was an especially good value compared to the competitors. The seats are firmer than I would like but the controls do help with adjustments. Though slightly dated, the exterior design is pleasing. Gas mileage is better than estimates for highway driving.

Great car for a great price

Overall this car is AWESOME! I love it and enjoy driving it. I just need to take it back to the dealership for a few things. the loud wind noise and then the Apple CarPlay keeps disconnecting itself after being plugged in. I would highly recommend this vehicle to friends and family.

New Sante Fe

Drives very nice. Pretty roomy for the size. Technology is pretty good. Over all I have been happy with the purchase so far. Wish they had more than one option for the moonroofs. Just not a fan of the huge panoramic moonroofs.

Overall very happy with vehicle. Need to offer more options without a sunroof, wanted cooled seats and upgraded radio but that only comes with a sunroof and I will never own a vehicle with a sunroof

Dashboard a little too complicated and bright.

Maybe I can figure this out if I ever find time to read the owners manual, but I wish I could or hope I can dim the video display at night. During the day, when the sun is behind or to the side of me, it glares bad off the plastic fake wood above the glove box. I have to hold my hand up to block it. It's almost blinding. My last Hyundai was a 2011. Simple dash controls. This 2018 is too cluttered. I have to take my eyes off the road to find the right button, ie climate control, radio, etc. etc. It drives nice and gets pretty good mileage for a 6 cylinder. So far no problems which is hugely important to me. I had 3 major problems with my 2011 Sonata in the first year or two.

2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate

This is an excellent vehicle; however, the BLATANT deficiencies are: poor gas mileage and delay in engaging gear when moving from Park to Drive but especially when significant acceleration is required. The NUMBER ONE deficiency is POOR GAS MILEAGE!!!

Very Happy with my Hyundai Santa Fe

I have owned different Hyundai vehicles for years and have had an awesome experience each time. I traded in a 2009 Hyundai Elantra that had 133,000 miles and was still going strong. Very little maintenance other than the usual oil changes was needed.

Our Santa FE

I bought the Santa Fe because I was told that it would tow my 4,000 boat. Yes it will tow the boat. This car doesn’t do a good job as a tow vehicle. I get 28 mpg over all driving. This car is roomy, fearure laden and comfortable to ride in.

Good far outweighs bad

This vehicle is loaded with features . Turbo works well when asked but like all turbo it's slow until pushed. Dash well laid out with easy to use controls. I have some trouble getting comfortable in drivers seat. Mileage is around 1 mpg less than stated but I live in So. Cal.gridlock. Plenty of cargo room.

I like my Santa fe

This is my fifth Hyundai, my second Santa fe. I like the styling and the roominess. The power seats make life a whole lot easier. They should offer it available with black interior. Nice SUV, good acceleration, good economy.

Sante Fe Sport 2018

I purchased this vehicle July 2018. I wanted a different exterior color but they didn’t have one and I didn’t want to wait. I really enjoy my sante. I always say if you don’t drive good I’ll trade you in. Lol. It does. I love everything about this car.

Great Vehicle

I love my new vehicle. The inside feels like a compact car. It’s not as spacious as I thought it would be once my kids were in it. The drive is smooth.. it’s great on gas. Overall, I am pleased with my Santa Fe, but I am definitely considering upgrading to a bigger vehicle.

The electronics for radio/features/navigation are a little disappointed compared to our trade in. Most of those features will never be used by us. During the purchasing phase, we had asked several times about navigation and were led to believe that it had to be done thru our phone. Disappointing because many areas we travel to have no cell reception. Bought a new Garmin.
