Review

Overall this is a nice vehicle. Have some general frustration with the auto safety features in this new car. Otherwise it suits my needs. Sometimes it feels as if the safety features get in the way of typical motor vehicle operation.

First SUV with styling .

It was my first SUB and expected to be better than RAV4 but fuel economy is compromised. Performance of the vehicle is very nice and specially bluelink and other safety features are commendable. Nice to experience it.

Sante Fe Upgrade

I upgraded from a Tucson to a Santa Fe this summer. Absolutely love the features and drive-ability of the Santa Fe as well as its styling. The only reason I did not rate Santa Fe as 5 stars excellent is because of the auto engine shut off is defaulted to shut off, which is very annoying.

For someone who is not very tech savvy the car is a little intimidating. I miss the service reminder that was on my 2013 SantaFe also the CD player. My 2013's service reminder allowed me to plan my services as needed. It just made things for me easier.

Nice economical vehicle, with some luxury features. I have had my Santa fe for a month and it's very good on gas. Very spacious in the inside has great storage space with hidden organized compartments.

Efficient

Love the car but was disappointed that the salesman mislead me. I made it a point to ask for navigation. He affirmed this was included. Lo and behold after sale and many days of trying to activate this function, I contacted Hyundai in Ca and they said my model did not include this option. DISAPPOINTED to say the least.

I have Hyundai Santa Fe model 2011 the problem is on how the serpentine belt fixed .sometimes it's noisy until the belt is bad. And now the second problem is the brake pad is no so good it's noisy. And I was able to make it home. I've received codes for camshaft sensor, misfires, low catalyst. I've changed the cam and crank sensors, coils, spark plugs, timing belt and assembly, fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump over the past year. As I have only had my new vehicle for 3 months, I have found all of the features to be utilized and have found them to be very helpful and easy to use. Vehicle has ample space and roomy for family and for traveling. Have had no issues with anything. Bought this vehicle due to best warranties and style of vehicle.

2019 Santa Fe Base Model

Honestly, the SUV looks good, handles well and has decent power considering its small engine compared to other vehicles available today. The interior quality feels a bit plasticky, however somehow well made. Decent features, except in my case the sound system is a bit weak and for my taste a disappointment.

Loving my Sante Fe

Love everything about my Sante Fe. Makes great gas mileage. Looks luxurious. Handles great. A little slow getting up steep hills. BlueLink sucks! The car itself is great. Love it more everytime I get in it. Owned it for a year now.

quiet ride, good luggage space, comfortable seats, relatively easy to change the oil. get a electric open/close button for the rear cargo door. a great suv for the money. comfortable on long road trips, I like the anti collision feature that slow/stops the car if the car ahead of you suddenly slows down.

Still happy after one year of ownership

We purchased a 2019 Limited AWD 2.4 in Oct 2018 and have been very satisfied overall with over 7100 miles of both hiway and in town driving. Interior comfort & features excell. Good handling (for a SUV), smooth transmission. Heated seats are HOT for midwest winters. Safety features (blind spot, collision warning, backup camera) works well and use lane monitoring on longer hiway drives. Averaged 27 mpg overall in past 3000 miles.

This is an outstanding vehicle except for the automatic transmission which causes the vehicle to jerk very hard between 1st through 3rd gear. Others on Hyundai Forums have complained about the same experience but Hyundai indicates this is a normal condition and no error codes have occurred. There is definitely a problem with the transmission that Hyundai needs to address and fix

Great vehicle for the buck

Love our 2019 Santa Fe. Had a 2014, a little disappointed with it, not enough power, steering was jerky, and acceleration from stop wasn’t smooth. With 2019 model Hyundai has corrected all of that . Love the 2L T; acceleration is smooth, steering is crisp and responsive. A lot of great safety features. I have received a lot of compliments on the color (lava orange). Would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Nice Vehicle

This is the second Santa Fe in a row. The first one had 190,000 miles on it when traded in for new one. We bought the 2.0T Limited which is a turbo charged four cylinder. I was leery of buying the four cylinder even though the power was almost the same as our first one which was a six cylinder because we pull a 3500 pound boat when we go RVing. The turbo charged four cylinder has no problem with the boat and gets around 26 mpg when not pulling the boat so it is kind of the best of both worlds. Nice interior and awesome sound system also.
