Just A Little More Model Flexibility!

My vehicle is very quiet and comfortable. The acceleration and cornering is responsive. The new design looks sleek and well advanced. The cabin equipment is intuitive and seats are comfortable. I would have preferred a non-sunroof vehicle but, the only option for the turbo was to include the sunroof. The horsepower has been reduced significantly from the 2009 model. You would think that the gas mileage would have improved by now. Matter of fact, my 2009 Santa Fe, turbo (263 horsepower) model got better all around gas mileage.

2019 Hyundai

I haven't been satisfied with this car since I got it. The salesman told me that this car had the same package as my 2017 Sport. The 2017 had more bells and whistles than this one does. The main problem is that it doesn't have an automatic hatch door lift. With 2 bad shoulders it makes it hard for me to open and close. I was told that this would be taken care of. I bought the car in December of 2018. Nothing has been done yet.

Enjoy my leased 2019 Santa Fe, more options than my old leased Santa Fe. Like the sporty look. Test drove many and finally found the vehicle I liked. The dealership was very accommodating. Searched other dealers for the exact car I wanted.

Santa Fe good acceleration good transmission wipers Controls take some getting used to suspensions is fern seats are also firm After 20 minutes you'll feel it . Can you get more space at the second row seats you can move them forward and back and tilt adjusted them also.

My husband likes the vehicle and I'm enjoying it as well

I did not like the fact that this was the only one in it's kind and it had over 5200 miles on it. There was not discount for it begin driven by someone and the interior has little white spots on the seat and a dent on the passage side.

Santa fe

Would have given a 5 star rating, problem is, received a notice that their could be a possibility of engine failure in the future. Instead of fixing the known problem they put a band aid on it by upgrading the software system to notify me when it happens and vehicle drive goes into a different mode so that you can make it to the dealership for repairs that should have been done in the first place.

Santa Fe black marks.

Things the Santa He should have; Pockets behind BOTH front seats. Automatic FOLD IN side mirrors. More room to get in the front seats. Dual Exhaust on all models. CD Player all models. Electronic updates for anyone. Increase LED interior Lighting, including "Mood" Lights / Accent Lights. Get rid of that engine shut down feature at the traffic lights. I do not like having a brand new automobile and the vehicle HESITATES when I try to shoot across 3 traffic lanes. This is a DEAL BREAKER. The GLOVE COMPARTMENT, no light and can not lock it. The space above the Glove Box, too small to be of practice use.

TRADE-IN VALUE

Really enjoy driving my 2019 SEL 2.4. It has enough power for my driving style daily and gets decent mpg. I also like the overall look and that's what drew me into the show room last year. All the standard safety features that I never had on any other vehicle is a big plus. Also the standard warranty is hard to beat. My biggest concern is resale value when I decide to trade for another vehicle. I was shocked and disappointed at the low trade price I was offered by a Hyundai dealer just two days ago when I took my car in for a Software update..

Quality control

Disappointed that my 2019 had a recall for a problem involving engine within 9 months of purchase. My 2014 Santa Fe also had a recall involving potential engine problem. Hyundai should work on it's quality control procedures.

Hyundai Sante Fe

This is my 3rd Sante Fe due to the reliability of the product. Husband has now purchased a Sante Fe. Improved the previous blind spot caused by side mirrors with change in mounting of side mirrors. Preferred the previous 3.7 engine as it was much more quiet.

I overall like my vehicle, just wish it was a "New" car when it was purchased, not a dealer car that someone didn't take care of.

The vehicle is like my previous 2014 sport, like all the features on the care except for the lane departure notification, I would have liked to have another option for notification .

Love!!

Had a 2005 for 14 yrs and advised to get new vehicle. Loved my Santa Fe and wanted another one; was looking at used 2018 because of cd player but opted for a 2019 instead. Still need to read manual for bells and whistles never had before.

We traded in a Hyundai Tucson for a Santa Fe. It was a mistake. The Tucson had more features than the Santa Fe we bought does, was just as comfortable, handled just as well, and we were satisfied with it. We purchased the Santa Fe to move up and planned to do so every 2 years. We should have stayed with the Tucson we had.

I love the vehicle but could do without the shut off when I stop. I turn it off It’s pick up could be better. Step on gas and takes awhile to get going. I really like the look. Warranty is so good though.

In general very happy.

Have enjoyed our 2019 Santa Fe. I was not happy they a radiator hose started leaking at 13,000 miles. It was covered by the warranty which is the best I am aware of but that is not a repair I would have expected with low mileage and one that can leave you broke down on the side of the road. Assuming not the beginning of other problems the Santa Fe is a very good value for the money paid.

Our 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Review

Had a Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring, looked at a newer CX-5 Signature, and desired something just a little bit---not a lot---bigger inside, with plenty of safety features and driving aids technology, plus creature comfort and convenience features, plus a sufficiently powerful engine, plus a conventional (i.e., not CVT) transmission, with some style, a solid warranty, and demonstrable reliability stats. The Santa Fe Ultimate 2.0 checks all those boxes handily, way undercutting the prices a similarly equipped SUV from, say, Acura or Volvo or the Germans or would demand. After 9 months with our Santa Fe and 8K miles, no problems! In that perfect world, I'd vote to see if the engineers could quiet the engine just a little more when initial acceleration happens, but once up to speed, engine and road noise levels are not intrusive. Personally, I'd love to see the new 2.5L turbo engine find its way into this trim level of the Santa Fe, but this is probably unlikely.

rides nice like to see all the road nice and high to see traffic like the interior stillhave not driven itin the snow so I don't know how that will be but I will soon find out living in CT.the snow will come and I will get a chance to see hiw it performs on snow and icy roads.

Mostly satisfied

This is the first car I ever owned with an automatic transmission, seriously, so I wanted to make sure it had actual gears and not a CVT transmission. I can use the manual mode to downshift as needed so this car works for me that way. It drives very nicely. The actual mpg is higher than expected, usually around 30 on the highway. There are some flaws. You can't lift the wiper arms to clear snow. It does not shift gears well when towing even a very light trailer. Again, manual mode is needed here. The sensors for the adaptable cruise control are too low on the front of the car and get covered with snow, slush, and mud rendering that feature useless at times. It's nice that the headlights are very bright but oncoming cars very often flash their high beams at me when I don't even have mine turned on. The rear turn signals low in the bumper are a very poor design but at least they are amber and not red. The tail gate could be more square for better loading. Taking a cue from Forester here would help. The roof rails are no good for tying anything to (again, take a cue from Subaru). Mostly, I am pleased with my purchase.

Hyundai santa fe limited

Good vehicle overall. A few downsides like cabin wind noise. Very roomy and plenty of space for storage. Not a big fan of the new entertainment display on top of the dash but its works well so that's a plus.
