2018 Hyundai Santa Fe

I had a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe and absolutely loved it. Never gave me a single problem in 10 years. So, when it was time to replace it, I automatically went to another Santa Fe. They've changed a few characteristics on this model. Being a short person, it is not a good vehicle. The seats do not come up high enough, the side view mirrors are so large, it impedes your view when making a left hand turn and the seat belts are positioned so deeply on the side, that it is hard to latch the seat belts. We purchased seat belt extenders to take care of that problem. It's a nice vehicle. Do I love it, no, not really. I did love my 2008 Santa Fe. But the vehicle rides nice and is not noisy. My husband drives it without a problem. He's tall. Just not a good vehicle for a short person.

Nelson 2019 Santa Fe

Santa Fe is under powered with 4 cylinder motor. Cruise control is in usable due to ridiculous safety feature! Very annoying you require 200 characters here. Cruise control is unusable! Car is under powered!

Good for the money

Good gas mileage, easy to get in and out of, plenty of storage and a lot of standard safety features, it is very stylish, an enhanced media package at no additional charge, the color is very appealing.

2019 Hyundai SE

Good vehicle. I'm very happy so far with the vehicle. Good gas mileage. The speaker system is much better in the 2019. Safety features are very good. It should've come with a backup warning noise when you are too close to something. Major miss from engineering.

Great features for the price

Love this vehicle for the family. I was quite excited with it originally, but there have been quite a few recalls for it, including a major Engine recall, where there is an actual class action suit pending. That is quite concerning, especially when it is a safety issue.

Dependable Vehicle

The vehicle has had a couple of recalls, but they were handled by the dealer quickly. It has been dependable so far (11888 miles). The fuel economy is approximately 20 mpg city, 26 hwy. The all wheel drive works well in slippery conditions.

Wonderful vehicle

Love my vehicle just don't like braking system. Rides comfort. Passenger seat rises up and down. Dual controls for comfort for air and heat. I love this vehicle. Easy to adjust seats. Captain chairs in the back and fold down and aďjustable.back of the seat.

I love my Santa Fe!

It's my first "crossover" vehicle, and it's the perfect size. No more getting stuck in the snow! I got stuck 5 times within a two-week period in winter 2018 and did NOT want to do it again, so we bought this Santa Fe. I've had it a year now, and I'll never go back to a regular car again.

high hopes

a few electronic issues, key fob,auto rear door release.nav not up dated. The lack fuel mileage and small tank. We store the car inside and expect the paint will last 15 years or more like our Ford and vw have.l

Quality vehicle.

This is my third Sante Fe and my fourth Hyundai vehicle. I find that Hyundai vehicles are great quality for the money and very reliable vehicles. With the exception of the slightly rough ride, this is a top notch vehicle.

I like it except for the problem with a class action suit about the motor. I'm really afraid to drive it on long distances. Not sure how long I will keep it for this reason. The last Santa Fe I had for over 10 years and only traded it in because I wanted to upgrade.

2nd Santa Fe

This is my second Santa Fe. I considered other makes, but came back to the Santa Fe. My only issue is that 7leaves clog the air filter and caused wetness inside the vehicle. This could have been addressed with a better designed filter.

2019 Sante Fe

So far I am very happy with my Santa Fe. The fuel economy is very good. I love the color and the styling. Seat comfort is very good but could be better on longer trips. I bought an additional seat cushion for the driver's seat. Storage options and space is excellent. Ride is very good. Safety features are really good.

2019 Santa Fe

As a loyal Honda and Subaru owner, this is my first Hyundai. Overall I’ve been pleasantly surprised what a great vehicle it is. The only negative I have is the ongoing issues I’ve had with my panoramic sunroof. Overall it’s a solid vehicle.

The little engine that thinks it can...

So for being a brand new vehicle (I’m only at 7500 miles), there are many great features, especially wirh the upgraded model that I have. I love the roominess in the back and the heated/cooling extras. That being said, I have been slightly disappointed with the motor/engine capacity. The vehicle requires some warm-up time for peak performance. I live in a 55 mile an hour road, and unless I am in, “sport” driving mode, I would get killed just trying to get up to the proper speed. Even in sport mode, the car requires quite a bit of drive time for it to really make a huge impact. Overall, it gets me from point A to point B and I feel safe. But it definitely does not feel like a sport model or anything other than a typical car, just up higher. Safety is what I was after. I just figured since I was literally getting a brand new vehicle, it would feel like a little more horsepower then the 2007 I turned in. But it runs about the same.

Good vehicle with excellent interior dimensions. Ideal size for two row tickets mid size SUV. Specific for my needs was truck/storage space. This was primary reason for purchase vs Mercedes or BMW, though price was also consideration.
