Santa fe

Happy after 4 months except for rattle in rear seat. Service told me it was seat belt but it’s not. Hope to resolve at first oil change. Like comfort of seats on long drives. Cannot comment on reliability as yet.

Great car

Great car. I did not like that the dealer added high margin options and refused to take them off. Different games the dealers play. The vehicle is much better for the consumer than the dealer is. I will shop dealers next time.

Hyundai sante fe 2020

Interior is good.comfort is good. Security features are excellent. Cargo space is supreme. Overall styling ang design are very good. One thing which is underwhelming is the base front wheel drive engine. It is underwhelming at times especially when you are going up the hill. I am in California and we have hills all over. I wish i could have got the 2.0 version.

Lots of convenient features. Love the storage space in the rear. Interior is nice quality and looks great. Wish a video option was available and CD player. Like the 2.0t has enough power to maneuver. V6 option would be better especially if you are towing.

Good interior but engine needs to be standard turbo in all this vehicle because it's a heavier car. Price should be reduced. Paint gets scratched easily. It would be nice if led lighting was standard.

I feel like this is repetitive as you ask this in several places! Overall I like the car a lot has great practical features as well as technical features. Overall the design of the car is very nice but I do not like the rear of the car as the indent for the license plate area is too large and too deep and does not get clean at a car wash. I also think the Sideview of the rear looks like an overbite not as sleek as the rest of the design of the car. Also The keyless entry and smart liftgate do not always work when I approach the car and that is a point of frustration for me.

Great value but...

This vehicle is gorgeous and well priced for the technology it has to offer. However, I am not pleased with how the engine sounds when you first start the car and the accuracy of the blind spot protection needs to be improved.

Much Improved for 2020

This vehicle offers the best value with all the safety and convenience features in this class. The quality in workmanship, fit and finish is outstanding. The vehicle feels very stable and weighty. We like the thud of the doors as they close. Yes it is not very peppy but the fuel mileage is worth the trade off (33mpg on road trips and 25mpg city)

Terrific Buy

My Santa Fe is a remarkable vehicle. It has three drive modes, but I just put it in "smart drive" and it virtually drives itself. It stays in the lanes, it slows down when you get to close to the car in front, etc., etc., etc.! it is also terrific to be sitting up higher (it is also MUCH easy to get in and out). I really didn't know if all the safety features would truly work by themselves in smart mode, but I was at a major supermarket and was about to back out of my parking spot. And, dang, my car simply stopped by itself. just then a car passed behind me at a much too-rapid speed. I would definitely have been hit had the car not stopped. For a good-sized SUV, I still average around 30 mph (it gets around 34 if I am just doing highway driving at around 65 mph. The best part was it was reasonably priced. I could have easily spent more for a different car market, but am sure I wouldn't have purchased a better car. Call me one satisfied customer.

Almost perfect

Noisy inside !! Doesn’t happen Hyundai Santa Fe 2017 even 2014 .! :( I’m riding Hyundai since tiburon 2006 this is my 5 Hyundai I love the brand but this in particular noisy inside pretty much my concern and also before can you have a leather in the chairs and now you need to have the best on the brand ... not good !

2020 Santa Fe

This is the third Hyundai I have purchased and the second Santa Fe. Still getting used to the safety features. The most useful one is the warning when something is moving behind me. The least useful item is the moon roof. After three months of ownership and over 3,000 miles. I have driven the car less than 5 miles with it open. A total waste. That aside I am very happy with it.

New 2020 Santa Fe

I leased my 2020 Santa Fe, moving up from a 2017 Santa Fe. New exterior designs very nice, great lines and look. Interior features have been upgraded, most notably the control screen, the cluster panel and better placement of controls to effect the vehicles safety features and performance. Still very roomy for a two row SUV, and while gas mileage is a little suspect, based on mostly city driving, the 18 gal tank provides for nice long runs between fill ups. The acceleration on the 2020 is vastly improved from previous years, and all the standard safety features are what generally attracted me to the newer model year. The 2020 is also noticeably quieter for all inside the cabin compared to the 2017. Compared three other SUV from competitors and the Hyundai, while a significant increase in leasing cost, was still a better priced option then the other three.

I really liked this car. Did a lot of research on line and drove four competitive makes. Safety features are most important to me and I thought Hyundai excelled. At first I thought the front seat was too short, but the dealer showed me how to raise an extension. Typical of many of the features. Great comfortable car easy to park and great driving. Only thing I keep asking for and never see from year to year with these cars is very rear AC VENTS FOR MY DOG, gets too hot back there for pets, very rear needs AC vents.....

Summarized below and during previous survey. I have nothing else to add! Reward the buyer for his time with a free oil change. Unfortunately most of my comments regarding engine performance are probably irreversible and simply part of the vehicle characteristics, such as tightening up the steering and engine noise on start up from a stop. I was hoping for a little more BMW performance considering your chief engineer came from BMW.

Value for money

This vehicle is the perfect size, it has perfect front, rear and cargo space. If you compare to others it is far superior. Also although Ford Escape etc say that they have more power I do not think they do and also you won’t get a 3500 dollar bill when the turbo goes out like I did with my old Ford Escape. This does not struggle to get up a steep hill when you have a family in it. Bigger engine is better and so is the 8 speed gear box. Also the seats are WAY more comfy front and back. It is also better looking and not as feminine as the Ford Escape I.E. you won’t get called a soccer mom. The only thing I would say is that the escape did not cost as much to maintain on say 30, 60 and 90 etc services But that is offset by the fact I got this at 0 for 72 months plus it was cheaper and you get more vehicle. You do have to drive it though as it does not pick up as quick if you are slacking around.
