Nothing But Issues

The Santa Fe is stylish and well appointed, with the exception of the lack of Apple/Google Car Play. The seats are hard and uncomfortable though. The car is responsive and fun to drive. I had paint flake off in certain places before my first payment was even made. I was told they couldn't do anything but give me touch-up paint that they never provided. Since the beginning of year 2, my car was in for repairs off and on half of the first six months. I had the transmission replaced twice at around 15,000 miles and some of the suspension replaced. To top that off my driver side Weather Tech floormat was missing when I finally got my car back. Hyundai has been unwilling to reimburse half of the days I was without a vehicle or a loaner. I have been very unsatisfied with how Hyundai treats its customers so I don't think I could recommend Hyundai to anyone.

4th Hyundai

After my first Hyundai which was a Sonata I was sold on the Hyundai brand. 3 sante fes later I’m still sold- all run well even in th high hunted thousand miles, ride is good and great features for our cold location: heated seats and steering wheel. Our “Southwestern” service team is great to work with as well.

An average car for its price

Looks good. Build quality is not really good. Small size engine for its size. Air noise so annoying. Suspension could be better. Oil filter hosing cheap plastic. Car known for its vibration especially when stops on light.

Not sure

I've only had this car 2 yrs., it wouldn't start 2 times once it needed a part the 2nd time, it must have been too cold, I feel I shouldn't have any trouble with a car this young, I can only compare it other cars I've had and I don't recall having issues with my other cars until they were at least 5 yrs old...just makes me a little leary is all.. I replaced the tires already cause a couple developed bulges...

Rust spot on various partsof the car, wiper and heater suck for winter

Not good for winter life, the wipers placement is terrible, the front winsheild heater is to small for the size of the windshield, a/c is not the best for summer either.

No spare tire

Selling a vehicle without a spare should be illegal. The little spare in a bottle is useless if you have a blow out. My wife and I are seniors with kids 800 miles away and the idea of a failed tire is not acceptable A spare is available but is over $300.00 !! Hyundai needs to rethink the" no spare idea"'.

Good newer car but over-reliant on apps

Overall, I've enjoyed our pre-owned car, but I wish it would have had an XM radio installed instead of making you stream everything through the app. The Android Auto connection is very poor and disconnects often during a trip. Engine lags sometimes when accelerating and lacks power.
