Looks like Hyundai did almost everything right in Santa Fe Calligraphy. Pleasure to drive, top notch tech. Only minor issue is super expensive tires.

My review

Overall I’m happy with the vehicle, but it was in the shop for an about a week because of two sensors. when I first got it. Then I had to take it back for another bad sensor. Now there is a recall for the passenger seatbelt that can’t be fixed until June sometime!

A good value for the money

The vehicle has almost every option you could put into it however, there are a few things that would be nice to have. Like automatic locker when you walk away. The entertainment system needs a little tweaking. The car threw a code. I went up to the service and was told that I’d have to make an appointment Weeks And Weeks in Advance. Also no loaners are available. I bought new cars before where loaners are standard.

Great vehicle but noisy

I like my Santa Fe, but on certain roads I get a terrible noise emitting from the dash. I don’t know if caused by the low profile tires or just a design flaw. Unfortunately it happens all the time on specific blacktop roads.

Good features, poor mpg for a 2026

Hard to go from a RAM to this and compare. Drives nice, decent features. The interior camera is way too sensitive, can't take a drink of water without it telling you to watch the road. MPG should be better in a 2026. Seats are not as comfortable as my RAM was either.

Overall nice vehicles with a few issues

When we picked up the car my wife realize there was a big scratch on steering wheel, we drove it back within minutes and dealership said they would fix it. I spent months going back and forth sales and service fighting for it. And then around 2000 miles in the brake was making noise. Took the car to dealership 4 times and the noise was still there. They wanted me to leave the car there and have a diagnostic. The noise went away after 20k miles. But it was very annoying. Also within the first few months, we turned on the smart lift gate and my wife said the trunk opened by itself and hit the garage door. I can't prove it but the dealership just kind of dismissed it.
