In Shop 3 Times in First 2 Months

It’s hard to write a review for a car you never get to drive but I guess that’s the gist of the feedback. The dealership has had the 2025 Santa Fe for over a week this time, the 3rd time in the past 2 months since I bought it new, and don’t know what is going on with it. There’s a constant squeaking sound that is maddening so I wouldn’t recommend buying one until they resolve this issue which, according to what I read in online forums, is pretty common.

Very nice vehicle, so far with about 5600 miles on it. Took vehicle on a trip and drover very well even during an emergency evasive action to prevent an accident.

2 Recalls in the 2 months I've owned it

This is the 2nd recall I've had and I would not expect this from a brand new car. My previous 3 cars were Subarus and the last one I had had electrical issues. Mind you I did not get full price for my Ascent (since I was NOT buying another Subaru), but it was only 2 years old, under 25k miles and had electrical issues that involved the safety of the car. So I took it back to the dealership for a trade-in and opted to get a Hyundai since I had one about 15 years ago. Mind you, I really love this car, but I feel I've gone from one recall to another and paid more money for a car that I am not feeling very safe in now.

Great car!

This is my third Santa Fe! Wish I hadn’t sold my 2003! 2013 had troubles. But this 2025 is pretty darn sweet. Style, comfort, gas mileage! The one thing that I don’t like is that I can’t wear my Ray Ban sunglasses! The face recognition doesn’t like them and I can’t use cruise control! But otherwise, it’s a great car.
