Take a Break - Coffee Cup interferes with driving safety

All "safety features" can be disengaged except for the Take a Break - Coffee cup. The algorithm isn't properly tuned and gives multiple false alerts, even with short drives. It interferes with driving safety and is extremely inaccurate, hence, dangerous. Hyundai needs to install an update that either removes this alert or allows one to disengage it as all other "safety features". Our salesman assured us all alerts and warnings could be disengaged - he was wrong - this inaccurate and frustrating alert cannot be disengaged.

Very disappointed

Barely 800 miles on it and has been back to the dealership for repairs 3 times since I purchased it and they still can’t solve the issue.

Santa Fe XRT. Nice but a lot to learn about system.

I like the vehicle. There are a few things I feel could be changed. 1st, there is no way to lock the doors from inside by push button upon exiting. Ex. Person in car I leave and person left behind can’t lock door. 2nd. When pushing stop button most cars radio operate 10-15 sec before shutting off. 3rd can’t clean blades on wipers bc hood in way of pulling up not sure how to change. 3rd I have 2000m and car didn’t start 3x right away and use of Fob on push button also didn’t work. 4th stereo system needs updated sounds monotone. Lots of things to learn I’m sure there will other things as I go but so far satisfied it’s fun to drive. Reliability question below can’t rate too early.

My third Santa Fe

I chose the XRT model for its increased towing capacity and general trim. Comfortable seats, good visibility, lots of gadgets. Strangely, no garage door opener. I get an overall mileage of 24-27 mpg.

It stays revved too high. It doesn’t want to shift quickly

Blind spots, shifting sluggish, doesn’t engage at times into park drive etc. steeering wheel is so shiny on bottom that it completely blinds you have to cover it with my hands

Enjoy driving the vehicle. Pleased with all the safety features.

Ease of handling. No issues so for other than a flat tire. Love the updates especially the led lights i can see better at night.

Great SUV...poor dealership follow thru

Dealership has been sub average in its performance with issues on fixing key fob issues that were noted prior to delivery. As a result of the required replacement of the processor the wire was broken powering the A/C and blower switch on the dashboard. Additional repair was required after the processor replacement. Not impressed.
