summary

manual instructions could be better listed in the table of contents and the instructions could be more explanatory. Otherwise we are getting all the bugs worked out. the front passenger seat belt latch seems to be an issue with every passenger--hard to reach and hands can't always squeeze in to latch. Back door is longer and almost attacked when first opened it. Back up camera gets blurry immediately when it rains.. Love the leg room in the back passenger seats and the adjustments for the front seats.

Good. Not great

Love the style of the car it’s very roomy well appointed, but there are several things that make me think I wouldn’t buy one again. Does not handle well and that may because I have the RTX version the safety features are great however they are a little bit over the top and can have you all over the road in Highway conditions. Seems like a tire burner to me engine doesn’t run as smooth as I think it should and there are some quality issues with interior rattles, etc. Close to being super great Car.

I dislike this vehicle

It is not an easy accessible vehicle. As an older American I can barely read the instrument panel. way too tiny. The lights for seat heat and other controls are so faint can't see them. I hate the middle panel because I can't reach something that falls from the passenger seat. The "charger" doesn't work on my phone. The back storage is ridiculous, and it is designed so that everything falls out unless you use the stupid net. The middle seats won't remove (I am used to a van). Most significantly on the internet it says the wires are not soy based. Which is the reason I changed from a van. But they clearly are soy. Rodents have already started ruining it. And there are many more problems I dislike. In fact, I traded it with my husband because I get angry anytime I drive it. I want to get rid of it after 4 months.

Been in service for 6 weeks

I only had it 3 months and it died with a 5Volt battery. It has been sitting on Brookshire Hyundai lot for 6 weeks and they won't contact me

Great at safety Features

Would have liked to see better software for infotainment screen. Able to alter different pieces of music and map etc. unable to close back thru phone app is very disappointing. Hopefully you will be able to upgrade some of these software issues.

Great vehicle

Love this car. Our Santa Fe Caligraphy has everything you could ever want. Owners manual isn’t much help setting up information system . Have had to google for info.

2026 Hyundia Santa Fe

I am pleased with my Santa Fe. There are a few features that I would like to see changed. The A/c vents cannot be adjusted so that they ae not blowing directly onto either the driver or the passenger. When you direct them to the passenger side it closes off th3e vent before it will adjust enough. As a Senior Citizen I am having some trouble in learning to use all the features. The manual is vague in some directions especially when I am not familiar with what they are supposed to do. The gear shift is hard to get used to. The cup holders are so far to the back that it is awkward to get your drink out. The storage area under the console is also awkward. it is difficult to reach under while driving. The tail gate opens so high it is hard for me to reach. When adjusted to the lower stop point my husband hits his head when walking under it. At maximum opening height it hits the garage door in the garage. The lane assist is not helpful on small county roads but I can see where it would be on Interstate. I wish you could turn off the stop hold with out having to turn it off every time the vehicle is started.
