2023 Hyundai Sonata hybrid

This car has all the bells and whistles. Smooth quite drive. Blind spot mirror, turn signals show your view on the odometer, power seats that back up when you park to get out. Front view camera, backup Camara and 360 degree view of car when backing up. Ambient lighting that shows inside the car at night. Automatic headlights and best of all, you can put regular gas in the tank and that gives me 572 miles!! Love this car!!!!

Oh well

Looks good, your basic suv, SEL model. The handling is not as good as my Subaru Forester which was the Limited model. The cost of a Limited Tucson was a few thousand more than the Limited Forester model I looked at. I don’t care for the purchase I made but it was the best deal I could get and money in this economy trumps everything. No pun intended , it ain’t funny.

Few Problems

The vehicle was designed with the front end too low for parking against American sidewalks and parking barriers. The result was that the undercarriage water shield would be broken off from the connection hardware and flap while driving at 55mph+ and drag with a most disconcerting sound.

has every feature you could want. i particulary like the auto hold and heads up display. its the rare car that has tons of features some of which i'm still discovering, like on Media there is an option to play falling rain sounds.

Disappointed that the limited is missing several features.

I have sold my Sonata. For the price of the Limited I felt short changed. The passenger seat did not rise - really bad for my short wife. No power trunk lid. No lighted glove box. No walk away door locks. no seats and mirrors keyed to the remote. No heated rear seats. Really slow Bluelink, if it worked at all. No spare tire. Only off and on for heated steering wheel - no adjustment. It lacks power especially when going up hills. It needs a 2.5 turbo and a larger battery. otherwise it was pleasant car to drive and got many comments on its style.

Depreciation higher than expected

I would probably not purchase another Hyundai for the depreciation factor. My car is just under 2 years old and has depreciated 1/2 of it’s original cost.

2023 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid - Love driving a Hybrid

I love my Sonata Hybrid because it gets 45+ MPG. It has a very stylish look, and handles well. Very dependable. The main negative is that the seats sit too low for short people.
