4runner

Mine has over 200k miles still runs good as new with few major repairs over the years. I expect it to last well beyond 300k. Best car I ever owned.

A Great Car

I purchased my 4runner second hand. The car has 42,000 miles on it. I have had it since 2003, I lived in Northern California, I have driven in snow, 4wheel works great. The car has about 198,000 miles on it, and drives like a dream. I love the car, it takes me back and forth from Southern California to Oregon a couple times a year. Plan on keeping it for a long time.

Great car

I have loved this car from the day I got it. I plan to keep it as long as it will run. My goal at the moment is 300,000 miles. I'm at 208,000 and it looks and runs beautifully.

One of the most reliable vehilces Toyota has ever made.

This generation of 4Runners was built to last. I know people that have 400,000 miles and more and the vehicle is still going strong. I think Toyota realized they made these 4Runners better than they had to be and subsequently made the newer ones less reliable. After all, what is the incentive to purchase a new one if the one you have never breaks. I have 5 newer vehicles and the one that never has let us down is this generation of 4Runners. It is our go to vehicle when one of the other ones is being repaired. Best vehicle I have ever bought out of the 20 or so cars/trucks that I have purchased.

What can I say , Its still running good 17 years later. A dependable vehicle is my top priority.

Best vehicle I ever owned.

Over 22,000,00 miles on it still runs like a top, this model looks as good or better than any of the newer models. Just put new tires, shocks and head gaskets on it. Drives like a new one.

1999 Toyota 4 Runner

This is my baby. I have had it since 2000. It has been back and forth to Texas more than I can count. I've had very little trouble with it since I've had it. It has a little over 625,000 miles on and still run like the day we bought it.

I have had my 1999 4RUNNER since 2002, I couldn't ask for a more reliable ?. I enjoy all the miles I've put on her. This is my second " Runner I had one of the first that was put out. Very dependable ?!!!

I love my car. Will be 20 years this Oct. that I have owned this car. Never a problem. Perfect size for anything I need to do. Great for long trips and short jaunts. The newer 4 Runners are larger, but I like this year much better.

Toyota 4 Runner 1999

238,000 miles and runs great, we’ve kept it clean, added front seat covers and clean monthly. My son used it for College and took it back from him after bought his Beamer. We’ve kept it up, mechanics love the 99 4 Runner. I would be hard pressed to sell.

Is perfect for my son. The salesperson helped in everyway we asked. They took us for a ride and even took us home for my son to see it. That was the perfect answer for us, so that he could see before we bought. Thank you for all your help.

It’s running, mechanics like 99 4Runner, 240K and going for 500K, if you spent $499/mth, do the math, I would like a new car but it sure is nice not having a payment. I wish I could fix broken interior parts, minimal though

1999 4 Runner Limited

Fantastic vehicle. 211,000 miles. No major problems, just required maintenance. MPG 15/22 today. Oil consumption is 1/2 qt in 5,000 miles. Steady power up mountain passes. Cruise all day long at 70-80 mph. 8,000 mile round trip cross country 2 years back, awesome no problems.

I know I'll have to get a new car someday, but this one has been the best!

I love this vehicle! Just encountered a potentially life ending problem but will hopefully make it to 300,000 miles. I'll probably have to start looking for a new vehicle soon, but none will measure up: they don't make them like they used to!

Best vehicle I ever owned!!

Pushing 300,000 miles and still looks and runs great. Very reliable vehicle that never disappoints.I would not hesitate to buy another one. If it fell apart tomorrow I would feel that I got my monies worth out of this truck. Pushing for 500,000 miles like what my brother in law got from his.

4 runner owner

I've had the vehicle 7 years. I bought it from an auction. 2 fuel injectors went bad over the years. that is the only problem i had with it. Great vehicle. Most reliable. Thank you Toyota . It has 290K miles on it and going strong
