Best car I’ve ever owned

Simply put, my 2014 Azera is the best car I’ve ever owned. I had a 2006 Azera previously that I put nearly 300,000 miles on, with only a couple bigger issues in 8 years of ownership. This model has had none, despite me driving heavily for work. I bought the car as a service loaner with about 4,000 miles on it. I now have 136,000 miles on it, again with no issues. It runs smooth, quiet and comfortable. It has all the toys I wanted and more. Incredible value for the money. I almost cried when I found out Hyundai discontinued this car in 2017. It personifies reliability, and is a sharp looking, loaded car to boot. I utterly love this car and will keep it as long as it will have me. We’ll probably get a Hyundai SUV for my wife eventually. The brand has proven to me that their reliability is second to none. Plus, when compared to other brands, especially luxury brands, you just get more car for the money with Hyundai. This car is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and it has certainly cemented me as a loyal customer.

Comfort and Ride

Recent comments by passengers was their surprise with the comfort and smoothness of the ride, and the amount of space the vehicle had for front and back passengers. One friend is taking his wife to look at a Sonata to buy. I enjoy the way the car handles, and it drives easily on the highway and comfortable on long trips, ie Boca Raton.

Exceptional value

I hae nothing but praise for this vehicle. It is too bad that it is no longer offered as a choice in the Hyundai line-up of vehicles. I have had no issues with the car, but only problems with dealer servicing. It runs well, powerful yet is fuel efficient, is very well appointed on the interior, good creature comforts, and handles well in traffic and on open highways. It out-performs many 4 wheel drive vehicles on snow and ice as it is just heavy enough to avoid slipping and sliding with acceleration. I wish my model had the sunroof and folding side mirrors, but otherwise, I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy another, if it was still being made.

This is a great car. Many features and a strong 6 cyl engine. Very reliable - great ride - quiet - and priced right. Now you have to buy a much more expense Genesis to get the same quality. If you can get a used one go for it.

2014 Azera is an excellent vehicle. Hard to understand why Hyundai discontinued it for the U.S. marketplace.

The 2014 Hyundai Azera I have is likely the best car I have ever owned. Until recently, we have never needed any dealership repairs. Over the years, I have lwned several Lexus vehicles. The Azera puts them to shame.

Azera has been a winner--why discontinue??

Very upset that Hyundai has elected to discontinue a very great machine!! Would buy another if available, but don't like the G series at all--they're too small and overpriced and have rear-wheel drive which I'll never buy again!!

Less than average

Some design deficiencies that the dealer's opinion is as "normal", such as idling going down to 500 RPM while stopped or raddling of engine when starting. I have owned 3 Azera's and one Genesis. I will not by another Azera.

hard ride--harder than my trded in 2oo5 cadillac

good trunk space, good back seat room, excellent front seat comfort, navigation is good, very good acceleration, I like the rear view mirror on door on driver's side and wish the right side door had same type. (I drove a rental Elantra this past week and the left door side mirror is not as good as the AZera)

A great Car

I fell in love with my car from day one ! It’s different & I love the body style! I get a lot of complements In which people think it’s a 20017 .But the only thing I don’t like about my Hyundai Azera is that’s it’s not good on gas. But love it not plan on trading it in .

Great Car.

I like the fact that it is a full sized car and drives like a "luxury" automobile. Very smooth and powerful. I am a little sad that Hyundai has discontinued the brand. I like the naturally aspirated V-6--power, and the very good mileage. Has all the bells and whistles.

2014 Hyundai Azera

I like driving a V6. I always get disappointed when I hear they may not continue this model. Sonata V4 Turbo is not the same as driving a V6. I drive a lot and I love the way this car handles curves. Acceleration is great. Roomy. Very comfortable car with the power needed to handle commuter traffic.

Great car, will be missed in the Hyundai lineup. Competes well with Lexus ES & Toyota Avalon. Extremely quiet and very comfortable. I travel for business and this is a great car for me. Too bad I won't be able to replace it with another one.

I bought the 2014 Azera new. I never owned a Hyundai vehicle before. I have owned different kinds of cars. I like and have owned large heavy cars. My husband passed away and I decided to downsize. I did not want a light weight small car. So, after shopping around, I came to Homer Skeleton to look at cars. I saw this brown Azera, thought I didn't want to purchase this one. I left and came back, looked again. This car has room in the front as well in the back and a large trunk. It drives well, gets good gas mileage and it is comfortable for long distant travel. I really like the car. Sorry, I was told they don't make this car any more.

Comfortable and Dependable

I travel a lot of miles for my work and I had upgraded from a Sonata to the Azera. I felt at first it was more car than I needed, but I quickly got use to all the nice amenities it has. Heat and cool seats, back up camera and the 6 cyl. engine gives it nice power on the highway.

Love my Azera.

My 2014 is my second Azera, my first was a 2006 model initial vehicle introduction. Both vehicles were/are extremely reliable. An exciting, powerful fun to drve car. Only disappointment is Hyundai Corporate has decided to stop bringing the Azera to the US. I would bet that most Azera owners feel similar. The car is an example of technological innovation at an unbelievable purchase price. I am unsure what vehicle will follow this Azera. If there was a new Azera vased on it's current heritage it would be the next vehicle. Two Azeras 1. 2006 traded at 240,000 + miles; 2. 2014 still great at 159,000 + miles.
