Quality vehicle for people who need a third row but not a large vehicl

The vehicle is well appointed and overall the controls are easier to understand than some other vehicles I have seen. There were no flaws with the vehicle when it was delivered.

Overall very nice - but it's early in the process

Overall, love it, and so do all my friends who see it. Get's rave reviews for comfort from everyone, and people are impressed with its pickup for a v4 (can you even say it that way?). Lots of plastic on the exterior though, (the name plates on the front/side and back), the side panel boxes between the back windows, and all of the front bumper. Inside - same feel. Super nice and the seats are very comfortable, but lots of plastic inside and sometimes its thin. I wonder how long that exterior plastic lasts before it starts to fade, which all plastic does and will. Oh and then there is the rear hatch open and close feature - which takes forever to open, and sounds like its about to break each time I use it. The only part of the car though that makes me feel like that.

Not as Practical for Us.

We are actually looking to move on from the Santa Fe already. Not because of anything failure wise related to the vehicle. We are actually disappointed needing to move on from the Santa Fe. The drivetrain is great on this vehicle. Very good response and pick up when needed to get going. The exterior and interior color caught our eye from the get go. We love it. When traveling on the highway it is louder than I would have expected related to the venting in the front bumper. The other issue we have is that we are a family of 5. We thought the Santa Fe would be spacious enough but after five months of ownership it’s apparent it is not. The Santa Fe lacks the storage space we need when traveling with all family members. For a family of four this is a great vehicle. If you need human space and storage space look elsewhere.

Computer issue

Overall, I think the car is nice but there has been a computer communication issue from day 1 that I drove it off the lot. It has been over 2 weeks to diagnose and still do not have my car back yet. I trust that this will be fixed but I am concerned that this issue will persist. I hope not, but we will see once the repair is done. In addition, I have had much lower gas mileage than advertised. I hope this changes but right now it is not good

couldn't be happier

Great vehicle. Great ride, seats are comfortable, tech works well. This is our 3rd Hyundai and we absolutely love it. Gas mileage is good, steering wheel controls for tech are easy to use. The Turbo engine has plenty of power. Phone charging pads work well.

Very impressive vehicle

The SF is a very comfortable suv loaded with useful technology. Controls are well placed. Styling is modern and unique. Acceleration and braking could be better. Good bang for the buck.

Great! Just a few tweaks needed

What needs fixing - power button is directly behind steering wheel (you need to move around the wheel and back again). On the screen - time should be larger and either centered, or to the right. It’s currently obstructed by the wheel and my hand, as is the distance and time of arrival on the map. On the dash - speed and gas should be on the right, where the passenger can also see those. The passenger doesn’t care about the rpgs lol, but I DO care how fast Hubby is going, or if we need to stop for gas! And the steering wheel - the column bulges downward too far / it’s too thick, so it hits my knees. Also would love it to telescope further! Phone chargers don’t work through even a thin, mag safe case. No USB slot for a thumb drive for music. Would like the blue to be a little bluer, and some rear lights higher up. Pros - everything else!!! The box shape really gives great passenger room. I feel like I’m in a full sized truck! Love the extra spaces to put stuff too - my car is my traveling office. I can have my coffee, a flat spot for my bagel, center console, glove box, AND extra small glove box plus a shelf, and the pass through bin for a small purse (currently holding my manual). Love the trunk cover to hide the contents. You can comfortably fit all adults (even in the third row aka “the way back”). Great pick up, though you need the AWD fit that, otherwise the tires pull oddly. Very solid, comfortable, great visibility too.

Hyundai isn’t able to fix a Santa Fe

My car has been in the dealerships service department unable to solve a parasitic drain issue from early February. The methods Hyundai uses to solve electrical issues is the least cost effective method and despite almost 7 parts repaired under warranty they just keep saying to keep waiting.

The Santa Fe is ok.

I traded in a 2023 Tucson for the 2026 Santa Fe. I liked the extra leg room the Tucson has. Other than that, the Santa Fe has better features.

But I don't like that when the roof windows are open for sunlight, you hear loud of wind (not open to the elements) It would be a 5 star if it had seat massage
