It sucks!

Nothing but trouble since the day I bought it new!!! Constantly needs some form of mechanical repair or had to go in for recalls. Wish I never purchased it....for the cost I could have got a much more reliable vehicle.

Nothing but trouble

Gouges bouncing, melted dash, oil consumption excessive....all documented but dealer refuses to make any effort to provide assistance in fixing oil problem and ouncing gauges.....just a brutal purchase on what was supposed to be a dependable auto

2009 Toyota Camry

Many recalls. Found out later there is a problem with their 4clyinder engines. This had to be rebuilt due to problems with oil consumtion. Because of this problem Toyota rebuilt it but because of my warranty,they didnt rebuild it properly. They rebuilt it according to warranty specifications. Only guarranted for 1 year then I'm out of luck. Lucky to have a good Service Department.

Okay, but not Great.

Granted my 2009 Toyota Camry is nearing 10 yrs old and for the most part has been a dependable vehicle to get me from point A to point B. However, since the get go, there have been way too many recall issues and the biggest one thus far is due to oil consumption. I shouldn't need to check my oil on a weekly basis, but I have to. In the end, after I run this car down to a nub, I don't think I'll run to get a new Toyota Camry. Toyota needs to not be so quick to get cars on the lots for quick sale before really assuring it's customers that they will stand behind every single component of the engine and will fix a problem without an expiration date no matter how many miles are on the car.

Disappointed

There are issues with the steering column and excessive oil consumption. Toyota knows about these material defects but refuses to take responsibility to fix them. This is my 5th Toyota and it will definitely be the last one I buy!

oil burning issue

My 2009 Camry has 135,000 miles. It started burning excessive oil at about 120,000. I now have to add at least 2 quarts every 1000 miles. It is beyond the 10 year limit for Toyota's fix for this issue. I have read articles that say Toyota knew about this serious problem with the 4 cylinder engine when they were making the 2009 Camry! I have owned 4 Toyotas in the past but this is my last one. Toyota used to be the leader in quality, but not anymore. It seems to be all about the money now!

My Preowned Camry

Traded my Lexus ES350 an found my Camry peowned at Auto Lenders. Clean and good as new car. Low mileage and great service. The car has good performance, good acceleration, brakes and steering excellent. Good sound reduction and no air noise. Doesn't have the horsepower to accelerate quickly when merging onto freeway but again, used to previous car. Was amazed, close to 40 mpg on trip to FL. Only problems are car idles high rpm (2000) when first started until fully warmed up. Takes couple minutes, Accelerator pedal not smooth when pressed. Car tends to jump forward when first pressed. Have to be press gently until moving. May just be my vehicle.

Toyota Camry

It's a nice family car, good to carry 5 persons; comfortably. Big boot (trunk) space. Good on mileage, excellent to handle. And awesome if you take a good care of your car, regular maintenance, oil change, tire pressure. I like this car very much

Loving my Camry!

First Camry that I have owned but second Toyota. Very dependable, spacious, great family car! Camry holds it value. If you are looking to purchase a new or used car give this one some consideration. I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

Camry Hybrid 2009

Great vehicle! Almost 110,000 miles and never had to have brakes or exhaust replaced. Only problem has been I had to replace the water pump. No biggie!

My 2009 Camry

The 2009 Camry is a reasonably priced midsized car. There is a great deal of value there. The steering is a little too tight, and the car has a hard ride, [It felt quite bumpy] Having said all that, I just bought a 2017 Camry!

Reliable

Reliable. Not an exciting car, but dependable. I don’t spend a lot on maintenance which is a plus. 10 years old with 64,000 miles; My mechanic thinks it might make it to 200,000. I can live with that.
