Still going

The vehicle just rolled over 208,000 and still going strong with only regular maintenance. It has started burning more oil in its old age, so an oil change is required more often. Much roomier than it looks and other than the floor mats, it still looks new.

2008 Prius

My car is now ten years old and going strong. It’s had no serious problems. I plan to keep it running as long as possible. It’s been totally reliable, comfortable, a pleasure to drive, and always good-looking. Mileage has never gonebeow 41 mpg.

LOVE my 2008 Toyota Prius

I love my Prius! It has lasted now over 100k miles with nothing but regular maintenance being done. And this car doesn't get babied! We drive on dirt roads about 25% of the time with it, and I never slow for a speed bump in my neighborhood! I expect it to run and it does reliably. And the gas mileage has always been fantastic! Still getting 57-59 mpg in town, unless it's summer and the a/c is running. That drags it down a bit. I'm not a car person - they are purely a practical need for me. I expect this car to last another 100k miles.

Dependable and fun.

I love my Prius. I enjoy driving it and find it very responsive with a lot of get up and go. I bought it in 2008, and it has given me almost no trouble over the years. It costs very little to service or repair. My only complaint is the low carriage which catches on cement parking blocks. I regret it is getting older, but plan to drive it as long as I can.

Overall Been a Great Vehicle

The 2008 Toyota Prius has been a great addition to our family. The gas mileage is incredible. Overall we have had very few issues with the vehicle until it hit 100,000 miles. Since 100,000 miles we've had to put in a new hybrid system and some additional major service. However, the service costs have ended up being less then monthly car payments for a new vehicle.

Perfect.

This car is 9 years old, and by far the lowest cost to own I've ever had or even heard of. It's been maintenance free, pretty much, still gets 44 mpg. Will absolutely buy another one if this one ever dies. We're over 210k miles now.

Great car.

Had it for nine years. Relatively problem free. Confortable. Obviously economical. Pleasant to drive, Lots of room. I'd have another, but this one's just like new.

Best Ever Vehicle

We have a touring model Prius 2008, purchased new from a dealer. The car has been excellent in every regard. It is comfortable. The fuel mileage has been 46 mpg, sometimes more, sometimes down depending on driving terrain. Currently, the vehicle has 73K and is still going strong. We highly recommend this car to others. We loaned our car to neighbors. They enjoyed the car so much, they purchased a newer model shortly after driving ours. \

what a great vehicle

Super, it serves as my work truck gardening, but you can take it to the fanciest ball and be proud. Living in Maine, the "Only" draw back is that it is a light auto (that's one reason it gets the mileage it does) so driving in snow is "if-ish", and buying studded snow tires is expensive the little I need to go on the roads in winter. I keep 170 lbs in back gust for weight, which I am sure compromises the better mileage. It is also lower than my last Subaru Forester which had a higher clearance.

Great Car

I have found my 2008 Toyota Prius to meet all my needs. It has plenty of pep when entering the freeway and has great gas mileage at about 41 mpg. It is a great town car. My only concern would be if I were involved in an automobile accident with a larger and heavier automobile or truck. I don't think that the laws of physics have been repealed. I would give the car an overall 9 out of 10 rating. Paul Chikos
