2nd Pruis and couldn't be happier!

This is our 2nd experience with the Prius model and we love it as much as we love our first! I've been very blessed with the performance of this vehicle and look forward to the future versions we will get when we run these two into the ground! ;) Actually, most likely, it will fall apart at the seams before this battery ever goes out! I've heard you can get 600,000 miles on one battery alone! I do a lot of miles in a week and its kept up with my demanding schedule! I don't see any forseeable issue in the future and i'm over 130,000 miles on my 2011 already! If I need to get a newer one, it will only be because i want a newer one or i've wrecked the inside from all the wear and tear of the daily use of a car that is both an office on wheels and transportation to and from for work...Thank you Toyota for such an amazing piece of machinery! Anyone looking for a reliable vehicle, i'll always point them your way!

2008 Prius MV Review

Great car, excellent gas mileage. I don't drive much so have to keep it on a trickle charger so the battery does not go dead. I drive ever 2 to 3 weeks. 60 mph highway!

Prius looks small but delivers HUGE

Extremely dependable. Average 46.3 miles per gallon over the last 105,000miles. Comfortable seating for 4 adults. Excellent visibility. Will purchase again next time.

I love it

although as it ages it is starting to cost some $ each year..I own an 08, so the first 7 years only oil changes and tires, now I have had a wheel issue, next is a wheel bearing, and my 12 volt battery (which I did not even know I had) died when I was away, "they" say it goes every 60,000 miles without warning...believe them, thankfully I had a person with me who has AAA, now I have it!

I love it. It is roomier than any car I have ever owed and has cost me minimal. It just goes and goes and goes, saving me gas $$$ as well as repair.

Dependable Economical and Good Looking

I bought my 2008 Prius used in 2012 with 48,000 miles on it. Now I'm at almost 116,000. It's great for long drives; comfortable and economical and it has more power than you would expect. Other than regular maintenance I have not had any needed repairs. It runs as smoothly and quietly as when I bought it. I love its smooth aerodynamic style. My Prius is fully loaded and I'm spoiled by it. I'm also pleased with how much room it has and how much you can pack in it. My only complaint is it low clearance. It's so low that I need to be careful with most driveways and really slow down. Had to replace the splash guard. Other than that I really enjoy my Prius.

An outstanding, practical car with excellent acceleration and driving pleasure. I get 40-48 mpg in city driving, 40 on the highway.

Exceeds My Expectations

I bought this car used and salvaged. It is the most comfortable car I've ever driven. It delivers better gas mileage than I ever expected. It has helped me move without having to rent a truck. I've put more than 100,000 miles on the car and it is still running strong.

My Prius

From my own research, 2008 is one of the best years for the Prius. Although I will upgrade at some point, my Prius is like a new car, and I will continue to enjoy it.

Love this car!

My '08 Prius is fantastic. I have nearly 100k miles on it and I've never had to do anything but regularly scheduled maintenance. And I drive in all areas - city, highway, dirt roads, mountains. I wouldn't change a thing. I expect this to last another 5 years, easily. Hopefully more. I have friends who have nearly 200k miles on their prius.

Love this car!

Love my 2008 Prius. Reliable, dependable. Have 129,000 mi and just switched out the battery for first time. Get regular maintenance done, but otherwise no problems. Gas mileage 37-45 mpg. Comfortable ride.

My wonderful 2008 Prius

We just had our 100K service and found very little wrong. It has been the best car I have ever owned. It is comfortable, has lots of room inside, handles well, gets great mileage, and has given us nearly no problems. I have maintained it well which might have helped, but I expect it will be in my garage for years to come. Good job, Toyota!
