2012 RAV4

This has been the best vehicle! It gets a lot of mileage put on it and serviced regularly and it just keeps going, love my rav4!! The interior and exterior color could have been better but it makes up for that by its durability.

Great Riding and engine

I love this car. The Limited edition as I am a luxury gal and love leather. Maintain the engine and it will ride forever. Had some engine noise like a diesel engine and found to have a broken hose to radiator and valve leak of oil. Caught in the nick of time. Lots of room back seat folds down.

This is my second Rav4. I love this vehicle!

I love my Rav 4 for so many reasons. I like that it rides high on the road. I like the comfy ride. I like that it fits five people comfortably. The trunk is so large and useful--I can fit so much in it and it easily carries gardening supplies. The Rav4 does great mileage. It is such a dependable vehicle--My first RAV4 did over 250,000 miles and needed no major repairs. This one had a paint problem. And then it was rammed by a huge stag which jumped over the hedge and hit and broke the front end and the windshield and the air conditioning, but apart from that-- the car is still going strong all these years later.

Dependable and runs great

I’m glad I bought the Rav 4 in 2014. No rattles on the PA rough roads. It’s a dependable suv and I put it through a lot. I work with the suv 5 days a week. I put it through its paces on a usps rural route.

Had rav 4 since 2013 bought new. It has served me good. No major issues with. Just minor things

Had rav 4 since 2013. Bought new. Have had it serviced regular. No major problems. Minor replacement on a few things. No problems in bad weather. Have over 130,000 miles on it now. Would by another Rav4.

Bought it new in 2013 it's been a great car. Has the 4cyl. in it. I've had little trouble with it. Went for 7 years before I had to replace the battery . Two sets of tires and brakes buy 97000 miles plus the things you should do. It's been a great SUV

Great vehicle

I bought used so there is always the risk that problems will arise but this car has been great. Comfortable, roomy, and fun . All repairs have been normal maintenance. Owned for 5+ yrs. Going strong.

Shame on Toyota - blown transmission at 99K miles

Very disappointing to need such an extensive overhaul at just 99K miles. Tsk tsk. We've also needed to have the door lock mechanism replaced in a couple of the doors. We purchased because of reputation, but will be thinking twice for next car.

Excellent Vehicle to drive

Very nice to drive, overall comfortable. So far transmission and engine performance is good. Low maintenance cost but some modern features are missing such as Sunroof, Backup Camera and apple car play with monitor is missing.

2012 Toyota RAV-4 V6

I love my RAV-4 - this is my second Blizzard Pearl Limited V6 (2006 and 2012). I want a new RAV-4, but hate the thought of possibly losing the horse power and the snow plow power of my two RAV's for a 4 cylinder. Since Toyota just repainted my 2012 free of charge because of a Blizzard Pearl paint primer issue, I don't have to worry about trading her anytime soon. But honestly, with the way both RAV's have performed, plus the way Toyota stands behind their products, I cannot imagine looking at a different auto maker.

Best bang for your buck for a small suv/crossover

Nearly 240k miles and not a single issue other than a crankshaft position sensor replacement recently. Not an exhilarating ride but very practical and reliable. While not recommend, I’ve pulled a 6x10 trailer heaping over with wet mulch several times, and it did a good job. The 2.5l is just a plain ole naturally aspirated engine, but it’s a champ.

I love my Rav 4 2012...never want to give up the 6 cylinder...keeps me from looking at the new Rav 4's! Toyota--Please give the Rav4 a 6 cylinder again! I don't know what else to say except I have loved my car since day 1!

Great car & exceeds the function ability. I'm always glad to be back in my vehicle after it's gone for service!! I've owned another Rav4 back in 2010 as a lease and had great luck with it, so when I was able to afford another one, it was greatly needed at the time as well.

plenty of space, very reliable, drove 6,000 miles to Alaska with no problems. Drove a month to 26 states with no problem! Best vehicle i've ever had! Most of my family have Toyota, many have RAV 4. love it!

Workhorse SUV

Bought this vehicle in 2012 as a replacement for our Toyota Celica. Obviously the RAV4 has quite a bit more interior cargo space and was much needed moving from one state to another, especially with a large German Shepherd dog.

Great Family Car with One Design Flaw

I purchased the RAV4 when I became a mother. There aren’t any air vents except in the very front. This makes it extremely difficult to heat and cool the car quickly. Otherwise, it’s a good family vehicle for 1-2 children. It has 100,000 miles, and I hope it will continue to be our reliable family SUV for several years.

Wished I got a V6 instead of a 4 cylinders

A would buy another RAV but a six cylinders Holds the road, noisy,. Easy to clean good on mileage and would buy another one. Like it very very much What else is there to say ? What is else is there to sayere????

driveing, mileage and care

Very pleased. No operation problems. Upkeep other than normal maintenance was at 100,000 plus mileage $1400 plus including rear brakes, rear shocks, all fluids changed including brake fluidDan, and some other misc. items like marker lights replacement etc.
