Fuel efficient. Lots of features in SE trim itself. Nice midsize SUV for all age groups. Auto stop available. Rear air conditioning vent. Blind spots detection.FordPass controlled through mobile application

Performance

I have found my Escape to be a very reliable vehicle. I have to haul around a teenage sportsman, and the Escape provides a roomy solution to all that equipment!!! In the 3 years I have had the car, I have only had to replace the tires! Very dependable!

Loving my new vehicle

It's a great SUV and it is great on fuel. It ride nice and has plenty of room. Loving the way it drives. Looks great and loving the extras it has like the blue tooth & navigation system. The sound system is great too.

We like the car very much.

The car has been a very reliable addition to the family and relatively trouble free. The minor failures like leaking brake cylinder was taken care of by the dealer and the warranty. It is our second Escape and most probably won’t be the last.

Great performance and ride.

This vehicle is practically flawless.. I have the turbocharged four-cylinder and it's performing better than my previous Escape which has six cylinders. has quiet ride and handles like a sports car.

Great vehicle

I love this vehicle. It is easy to enter and leave the seats especially for an older person. And there is room for anyone sitting in the back seat. It is a smaller SUV and is easy to park in crowded spaces. Very responsive controls and tight turning base. Great features like backup camera and side mirrors.

Great SUV

I have had no problems with this car. It runs great and has many nice features. It is comfortable , gets good milage , has good power and is effortless fun to drive. The 2017 is a very good value and easy on the eyes. Several posers have copied it's fine design.

Ford’s rule

Had my ford escape since new 2017, with no expenses out of normal where and tear.the tires are real good in bad weather snow or rain it doesn’t matter the car handles very good.the only issue is at the time all these new safety issues like brakes assist and lane change warning we’re not available when I bought it so if my gkids don’t get it I’ll trade it in for a new car.

Great, small SUV.

Titanium package is quite complete and comfortable. Reasonable mileage but should be better. Luggage rack is almost decoration with limited ability to adjust. Needs storage spaces for small objects like bungie cords in back and tiedown rings are good for a cargo net but problematic for routine packages. Note that luggage rack crossbars are not included with the luggage rack (do they really think it is just decoration?). FordPass and linking Android phone to the car is almost intuitive and works great. No regrets going from my Equinox to the Escape.

Nice ride, convenient size, easy to drive, rearview camera does get bleary when it rains but still viewable, gas mileage is so/so, but not bad for a sports utility vehicle, interior amenities very nice.

Nice SUV

My first SUV. Has been really good. Was skeptical about the 4 cylinder engine but with the turbcharing it is not a problem. Actually it's pretty peppy and gets great gas mileage. Handles nice and has been trouble free so far.

Love the car but still clunking

The Escape is a 2017 model and we love the car except for still some clunking. The first Escape was even worse and the dealer gave me another brand new car. This car has been better but we still get a clunk when changing gears. The internet reflects many comments than are the same and apparently there was some design flaw in the 2017. The car is safe and we love the design, color and the way the car drives. Like living next to a train track you just get use to the clunk that occurs now and then.

DO NOTEVER GET ONE OF THE LAST VECHICLES TO COME OFF THE END OF SEASON TRUCK. AT ABOUT 500 MILES A NEW REAR END HAD TO BE INSTALLED. A LITTLE LATER I HAD TO HAVE 2 MORE INSTALLED . NOW THERE HAVE BEEN NO FURTHER PROBLEMS. ALSO I DO NOT LIKE THAT THE ENGINE TURNS OFF WHEN YOU STOP AND HAVE THE BRAKE PEDAL FULLY ENGAGED. ENINE RESTARTS AFTER TAKING FOOT OO BRAKE. THIS IS A TERRIBLE IDEA--WHAT IF THE ENGINES DOES NOT RESTART. YOU'RE STUCK.
