My 4th Hyundai, my second Tucson

My first Hyundai was a 2008 Elantra. Bought it used and loved it. I got my wife a 2015 Hyundai Tucson, then traded my Elantra in on a 2020 Kona. Gave my son our 2015 Tucson as his old Jeep died and traded my Kona in on a 2023 Tucson. Even my wife’s friend went for the 2023 Tucson. My daughter is on her second Tucson. My 2015 needed the new engine but Hyundai was great. Replaced for free. Just waiting on the reimbursement of the towing and rental fees.

I love my car! It would have a 5, but I hate the leather seats.

This car is amazing. It gets great gas mileage, handles well, looks sporty! I just hate the leather seats. They did not hold up, within 6 months the seat cracked and I was told it was not covered under warranty.

Answers based on 2.5 years of driving on a 3-year lease.

Overall a good vehicle. Exclusively driven by my wife. She feels it is too big for her and she struggles with set up to use the features in the vehicle.

Dealership Misdiagnosed for $1,800

Took my car in for a free oil change at the dealership. Don’t know how they worked it but, my a/c went out shortly after the servicing. Brought it back into the dealership. Was told that it would cost $1,800 to fix and charge the unit. I reluctantly said ok. They were set to bring the vehicle to my house but, the check engine light came on. Said that it would cost $1,100 more. Spoke with the Service Manager who said they Jerry rigged the issue and there was no further additional charge. WTF

Happy Hyundai owner

The engine dies on my first initial start up. I typically have to start it at twice before it cranks up. I was going to put a 7 on value for the money because I paid to much for my car but in general I guess it is a fair price.

Nice looking but not built with thick metal

Car is beautiful but don't let a shopping cart near it. Don't let a kid come touch with bicycle. Be aware of golf balls. Don't park near someone who's door might hit your car. If you do any of those things you will have a ding. Metal not strong as other cars and dents easily.

Love my vehicle besides the leatherette interior

I love the car apart from the leatherette, the seat keep ripping and it started from the first year of purchase. The vehicle is used for work and leisure. I have gotten my seat replaced multiple times and the issue happens within 6 months of replacement. I am still waiting on the back of my seat to be replaced and never been notified when it was to be made available.
