Satisfactory Engine Power Major flaw is the auto-hold feature, which jerks the car significantly when it restarts the engine at the stoplight Mileage is okay but lower than advertised and decreases significantly with age of the engine. Infotainment system and instrument cluster are well designed and easy to use. Ride is not as smooth as competitors' vehicles.

My 2024 Tucson is simply great!

I had not had a 'new' car, never owned a Hyundai but the great warranty, the 36mth free maintenence, and finance rates brought me in. My SEL model while not the top of the line has so many amenities that I could not find at this price anywhere else. Tucson is so comfortable to drive. It is not a sports car but a strikingly attractive vehicle that has so much room for me and my dogs and my gardening hobby. As gas prices continued to rise I started paying more attention to my mileage. I average 30,31mpg in sports mode, highway/city combined. It is not a turbo or a hybrid. This car has surprised me on so many levels.

Don’t Believe the Naysayers

This is my second Hyundai. Both have been excellent cars. I read a lot of reviews from so-called experts. I think there’s a lot of brand snobbery. I traded a Jeep Grand Cherokee for the Tucson. Some may say i traded down, but my Tucson is a much better vehicle than the Cherokee. My only regret is we didn’t get the Pallisades.

Unsure about long term power train quality?

It’s ok; however, after reviewing many online bloggers and auto experts I worry about its quality and will Hyundai and its network of dealerships honor its 10 year warranty without the hassles???

Love and hate

When I first bought my 2024 Hyundai Tucson, i loved it, it was the car I wanted.I did the research I got the color, trim, everything I wanted. Then, the 10k to 15k miles, it started shaking when I would push the brake.I contacted hyundai, where I bought the car and it was a little bit of a hassle to get the car in to get them to fix it without them saying it was wear and tear. In my opinion, it wasn't wear tear because the car only had less than 15k miles on it.And I had read tons of reviews and blogs about people having the same issue. Eventually, Hyundai did fix the rotors and by fix, I mean, they turned them instead of replacing them, and then again, 60k miles, I ended up just having to replace them myself, as the issue was happening again. I've had to take it in a few more times after that, they replaced the transmission and a part on the rear end, but lets not get into that. I truly love the car. I love the look. The safety features the screen. The leather seats everything on the car. It just hasnt been as good mechanically. I still think Hyundai makes the most beautiful cars that have the best safety systems and interior. I just wish I could get my car to last me more than 60k miles without having any issues. I did forget to mention that this was my third car that i've had with Hyundai.The last car I had started having issues at about 80k miles.

Great car for the price

Excellent car for the price. Ride nice and is very comfortable. Easy exit and entry. Lots of great standard equipment. Feels secure on the highway and back roads. No issues except the horn. Which was recalled and covered under warranty. I’d recommend for anyone including seniors.
