A bit worried

The dealer stated i will need tires on my next service, my Tucson only had 12,000 miles on it. They said Hyundai puts the cheapest tires on their autos , at 17,000 miles i have to replace them, it makes me wonder what else they put cheap on it that I'm going to need to replace?

Great Features, But Too Many Frustrations for a New SUV

The 2025 Hyundai Tucson is a stylish and modern SUV with a lot of great technology and comfort features, but my experience hasn’t been as smooth as expected for a brand-new vehicle. While it offers a nice ride, spacious interior, and advanced safety systems, some of those same features, especially the front collision system, can feel overly sensitive and actually create new issues instead of preventing them. I’ve also experienced concerns with acceleration responsiveness, tire wear much earlier than expected, and occasional signal interruptions with the radio. On top of that, Hyundai’s trim structure makes it difficult to get all the features you want without jumping up multiple price levels. Overall, it’s a nice-looking and well-equipped SUV, but the reliability concerns and design trade-offs bring my rating down to 3 out of 5 stars.

SORRY I PURCHASED A NEW 2025 TUCSON

TOO MUCH COMPUTER CONTROL ON SMART CRUISE CONTROL. HAVE TRIED FINDING A WAY TO TURN OFF THE SMART PART OF THE CRUISE CONTROL BUT HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO DO SO PURCHASED TUCSON FROM ALM HYUNDAI IN LUMBERTON, NC. TRIED AT THE DEALER , AT THE DEALERS SERVICE LOT AND CALLED THE HYUNDAI HELP LINE WITH NO RESULT. BIGGEST PROBLEM I HAVE WITH IT IS IT COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. I WAS ON A 4 LANE HIGHWAY. I WAS APPROACHING A VEHICLE IN MY LANE. I STARTED TO CHANGE LANES TO PASS IT AND CRUISE CONTROL DECIDED TO SLOW ME DOWN. HAD SOMETHING BEEN COMING IN THE OUTSIDE LANE IT WOULD HAVE CAUSED A COLLISION. THEN IT SPEEDED UP MY CAR AT A FAST PACE, ENOUGH TO BE WASTING GAS. I SAW IN A HYUNDAI VIDEO THAT THERE WAS A WAY IN THE OWNERS MANUAL OF HOW TO DO IT BUT I COULD NOT FIND IT. A COUPLE OF OTHER THINGS ARE ALSO ANNOYING. THE ALARM GOES OFF FOR NO REASON WHEN IT THINKS THE DRIVER ISN'T ATTENTIVE. HAPPENS ON A STRAIGHT ROAD FREQUENTLY. APPEARS THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN THIS OFF EITHER. THE FACT THAT CAR HAS A SHUT DOWN IF YOU STAY STOPPED FOR MORE THAN A FEW SECONDS IS ALSO BAD. IT HAS A WAY TO SHUT THIS FEATURE OFF BUT YOU HAVE TO DO IT EVERYTIME YOU START THE CAR. WHY NOT HAVE IT TO BE THE ONLY TIME IT WORKS IS TURN IT ON WHEN YOU WANT IT TO SHUT DOWN.

Could Be Better

I have almost gotten into accidents because the car thinks it knows better than me and slams on the breaks when the car in front of me is turning and I am completely safe. There should be an option to turn off this feature until you turn it back on. I also couldn't back out of a driveway on a main road because it kept detecting cars on the other side of the road and kept slamming on the breaks.

Excellent features for the money, if they all worked perfectly.

Love all the features for the price, however, the safety features like automatic breaking are terribly inaccurate and the auto-breaking has nearly caused 4 accidents (people nearly rear-ended us 4 times) as the breaking was not even remotely necessary. It also makes it nearly impossible to get out of a parallel parking spot, because it auto-breaks when you're about 1.5 feet away from another car.

It’s okay

Not enough power for a car this size. Engine roars if you have to goose it to get on the highway. Temp control touch screen too hard to see. Rear turn signals at bottom of car, not visible to an average pickup or SUV behind you at a light. Driver’s seat uncomfortable - like sitting on a metal bar.
