Retrospect to downsizing

I attempted to downsize at retirement to a smaller SUV. In hindsight, I should have realized the a was not the right choice for me.

Excellent features for the money, if they all worked perfectly.

Love all the features for the price, however, the safety features like automatic breaking are terribly inaccurate and the auto-breaking has nearly caused 4 accidents (people nearly rear-ended us 4 times) as the breaking was not even remotely necessary. It also makes it nearly impossible to get out of a parallel parking spot, because it auto-breaks when you're about 1.5 feet away from another car.

Apart from pickup everything is fine. pickup is not satisfied even performing like it used to be too slow and the vehicle is making sound without moving.

It’s okay

Not enough power for a car this size. Engine roars if you have to goose it to get on the highway. Temp control touch screen too hard to see. Rear turn signals at bottom of car, not visible to an average pickup or SUV behind you at a light. Driver’s seat uncomfortable - like sitting on a metal bar.

A nice car with many good features.

While the automobile has almost all great features, the driver assist system is in some ways annoying. If you use cruise controls it is distracting in its warnings and its shutting systems off when you are in traffic.

Not even four months in we were having trouble with the car. Dealership was not helpful at all with trying to resolve.

Like it okay. Don't love it

There are two things that are so annoying that will have to be addressed before I buy another Hyundai Tucson. Can hardly see the dash lights and media control lights.They are much too dim. The box that shows The current speed limit doesn't stay on. In just a little while it goes back to black. Most annoying when I'm on a trip.
