The Highlander Hybrid is a great vehicle

I love this car. It's a 2015 model that is comfortable, has good features, good visibility, handles nicely, and is economical. Original price was high, but my overall average mileage is nearly 27mpg. Plenty of power to pass a truck on the thruway. Main seating is 4 captains chairs.

Good Value

This has been a very reliable vehicle. I would highly recommend it to others. We have not used the car for towing but we have lugged around 7 people in the SUV quite regularly. The vehicle has over 100,000 miles on it and I plan on using it until it hits 200,00 miles.

Very reliable.

Have crossed the country back and forth 5 times from Washington State to the east cost since owning it and never had a problem or even worried about one occurring with the car failing to operate. Never over heated with outside temps above 100, etc.

ALLI CAN SAY IS GREAT VEHICLE

2015 Only wearable maintenance items NOTHING MAJOR. OIL & FILTER EVERY 3000 Miles I do not approve of every 5000 8000miles. The vehicle has a lot of good features you don't have to open the hatch if you only want to reach in the back for small items because the rear window opens Only use MOBIL 1 And a quality oil filter Coolant & Transmissio fluid go for 1000000 miles. Impressive.

Reliable, safe and fun to drive. Controls and cabin are well thought out and functional.

Long drive or short trip, the Highlander is a pleasure to drive. Dependable, responsive and you can drive it all day and not be exhausted at arrival. Good sight lines and front to rear weight distribution makes for easy driving.

Perfect size car for a family of 5. Comfortable seating. Great storage & special interior features. Rides well with no mechanical problems . 74,000 current mileage. Interior & exterior of the car are in perfect condition.

Meets all of my expectations

Before I purchased the Highlander I prepared a spread sheet comparing it to similar vehicles of the same physical size and price range with Consumer Reports. Also, I talked with a neighbor who had recently purchased a Highlander from Michael's Toyota and was very satisfied. The Highlander I purchased from Michael's has exceeded all of my expectations.

Highlander review

Absolutely excellent SUV. After six years have not had any issue with this vehicle. Comfortable, adequate gas mileage, very well equipped. We also had a 2001 Highlander we drove fourteen years over 215,000 miles. Although we are senior citizens, if we need another vehicle would expect to purchase a Highlander or RAV4.

I'm very happy with this vehicle

I bought this vehicle at Michael's Toyota of Bellevue. It was the best purchase experience. The overall price was fair. Since my purchase Michael's has serviced the vehicle. The vehicle has approximately 55,000 miles. No major issues to date. At 60,000 miles I plan to review maintenance recommendations with the Service Advisor.

It's a Toyota, enough said.

I don't think there's a single wrong thing about this car as it handles like a champ and the maintenance is next to nothing (aside from the usual ware and tear). You can't ever go wrong with a Toyota if you're looking for a car to keep a long time and have extremely low maintenance.

I will drive this car as long as it will have me! It is 7 years old and not one problem!! I was in slow in major servicing and no issues. I would tell anyone looking to consider the Highlander or any TOYOTA.

Almost our all time favorite vehicle - almost...

- At 5,000 miles, straight highway gas mileage just crept over 22 mpg. - Computer system too slow to initiate or transition at start/stop; and times out when using only accessory setting to listen to radio while engine is off - very annoying if listening to news or favorite tune. - Third row seating VERY uncomfortable. Suitable only for small children and very short trips. We now regret not having the more traditional second row back seat that can accommodate3-4 depending on size. - Navigation system incredibly frustrating when inputting new address either on screen (when still) or via voice commands. Worst we have ever owned until it finally accepts and engages the actual address. Recently, no matter what we said, it started us in the state of MAINE. We are in the state of WASHINGTON, so that is totally inexplicable and has caused us to give up and use other navigation options - unnecessarily consuming data on our Verizon phone plan. Otherwise, we do love the drive and feel of our new Highlander!

Husband loves it, I miss my Tahoe! Highlander is not as comfortable to ride in but gas mileage is better.

Almost perfect

With all the great features why did they put those uncomfortable seats in the limited...ok about town but after an hour into a trip you,ll be looking for a chiropractor ...and why only four way passenger seats ..no up or down? What are we talking about another $100 on a $42'000 car?....

Excellent vehicle for the family needs

I left from home to try and buy a Toyota 4 Runner Limited and at the dealership decided to try the Highlander too. After testing the Highlander I realized how smooth it drives and how quiet it is on the freeway and took it home. Excelent vehicle for the family. The only problem I had was when the remote opened another Highlander the same color in the same parking lot with my car. Contacted Toyota and they emailed back that it happens but the other car wouldn't start. Since then it happened again, the remote opened another Highlander in a different parking lot. So don't leave valuables in the car.

Just one thing.....

When turning corners the side mirror driver side blocks view.when turning left from stop the mirror makes it a bit unsafe. When turning to the right i dont notice that the left mirror is a poor design (200)
