RAV4 cabin noisy

RAV4 is a great car but the car have a very noisy cabin. Even with Econ mode, gas mileage need to be better. With econ mode on I still have to pour gas every 5 day.

Not the best

Toyota’s are ok vehicle in my opinion. This is my second Toyota but first Rav. I think I was sold a lemon. One owner but hell since I purchased this vehicle. I’ve spent over 2k for a car one owner bought it at 21k for 2013. These repairs haven’t been cheap. Maybe just the stroke of my luck. Good tractions in the snow. If you keep up with maintenance then you’re good.

I don’t like the way it rides.

I’ve had a suv prior to this one. The rav4 is the worst riding vehicle I’ve ever owned. I would never buy another one and I would not recommend it to another person. As soon as I can, I’m getting rid of it.

It is a great SUV!

My wife and I have this car about 1 year now and we like it a lot. Gets good mileage, 4 wheel drive, cheap to insure and all the bells and whistles although I wish we had bought the LTD. Heated seats and side mirrors. This car does ride like most small Toyota's (kinda rough) but it handles like a dream in rain snow or ice. I am in my fifties now and some of the radio stuff seems a little complex. Gives me something to do on those long drives tho. I do not like the windshield wipers I think Toyota has made very little improvement on them for some time. They ice up and are a general PIA. Other than the ride and the wipers this is a very well thought out vehicle.

2013 Rav4 Limited

Great Suv, but has some bad points about it. I have only had it a week, but seems that the power rear hatch has issues, and not the only one with these issues. The power one is very slow and clunky. When you close it you have to wait for it and is slow and loud. It has a manual close option but not recommended to use this option, because it could break it. So your stuck using this clunky power option that if you Google you'll see there is a lot of issues, even with brand new zero mile cars. There is a TSB out, but not sure if anything has been done yet. Oh, and when it does breaks, its $600 each for the shocks and has to be done at the dealership to be programed...so $1500+ Id much rather have the $30 normal gas shocks on ever other suv out there. The car it self is good, Ive been getting 24-25 MPG. which is ok for a small suv. I wish they would have kept the V6 option with the 6 speed trans would have been great.

Not as happy

This 2013 RAV is noisier than my 2009 RAV. I hear more road noise. I like how the rear hatch opens. The backup camera is handy. I wish the intermittent wipers had more than one speed. Other than those few things I really enjoy driving my RAV.

I really like my dark green RAV4 LE - a/k/a "Turtle".

Pleased with winter performance. Prefer Sport mode - better handling, zippy - comparable to Eco fuel economy, A little noisy on the highway. My Bassett Hounds can't see out the back windows, so their car rides aren't as much fun as their previous vehicle - older Toyota Corolla wagon. Overall, very satisfied with my little SUV and all the folks at Ressler Toyota of Bozeman.

Reliable, Competent

2014 RAV4 XLE does most everything well. Gas mileage and range are disappointing. Touch screen difficult to see in full sunlight. Otherwise a solid vehicle.

Love my RAV

Love this vehicle....reliable, low maintenance, comfortable height for getting in and out of car, gas mileage decent. AWD is awesome; can get around so well on winter roads. GPS system horrible though. Not high tech at all! Drive is not super quiet on Hwy but not noticeable in day to day driving/errands etc

Love this car

I would have given it a 5 review but sometimes when you hit the gas it's a little noisy other than that it's performed like a champion. Had to get the brakes done but that's only general maintenance for card that had about 75000 on it

Rav 4 for the future

I'm the third owner. Drove it for a year and has 130K on it. Still running smooth. But past minor accidents had left the bumper looking weak and shaky, no matter how I try to put it back together. Noisy interior, compared to my my old Mazda 6, 2010.

Reliable

This is my fourth Toyota and I love it. It’s very roomy inside and has never given me any problems. The only thing I would change is adding lumbar support in the seat, and having a higher quality evaporator for the AC. This is my second Toyota that needs the evaporator replaced. A $70 part with $1000+ in labor.
