80% Satisfied

I have had BMW's for 30 years. I am still in love with them, but I have a big furry dog, and can no longer afford to service a luxury car. I balked at getting any other automobile. I am deeply satisfied with my Rav 4. The only complaint I have is that the electronics have blips and glitches in them. I often have the experience of my phone saying its "on" for as much as 15 min, preventing me from listening to music, using my GPS, or my IPhone.

Great car but!

I love my Rav 4 but at 4'11' I have difficulty seeing,especially turning left. I sit on a cushion but the large mirrors are right in my view and the window moldings are large because of the air bags. My 5'11' husband loves it and has no problem when he drives it. Lots of room in the back and the Rav is great in the snow.When my husband is in the passenger seat the dash board ,which juts out , hits his knees unless the seat is all the way back.

So far, so good.

First time I've bought a used vehicle so I'm still waiting for a wheel to fall off. (I'm kidding). It's low milage (< 10k miles) and looks and feels like it is just off the showroom floor. Everything is working as expected and we look forward to driving it farther than to church and back. We searched for and found an XLE with the power lift gate and found it at Gladstone Toyota. I read poor reviews about the Entune system but it is not bad once you spend a little time with it. All good, so far. I would give it 5 starts except I'm still trying to figure out a few things. Cheers!

It's a Toyota - what can I say?

I have had Toyota's for most of my life and this one doesn't disappoint. I only gave it 4 stars for a couple of reasons. I knew exactly what I wanted, but why is it you can never really get a car on the lot with all the features you want; you have to order it???? I hate black interior which this has and the biggest drawback is the fact that the hatchback doesn't open automatically; you have to manually open it. Did a man design this? I certainly think so as ALL hatchbacks should open with the touch of a button on your key fob. It is a real pain in the butt to do this manually....I wouldn't have bought this model had I known, but it was my mistake.......lastly, for some reason Toyota's are famous for low tire pressure, bad batteries, and worn out windshield wipers. It has happened on every Toyota vehicle I have owned going back to 1978. Manufacturers need to figure this out. All in all the vehicle is a great drive, dependable as all Toyota's and has a great resell value which is the selling point for me.I was surprised that the gas mileage wasn't better.

Great vehicle! Bad paint job

Wonderful vehicle, mechanically flawless and versatile. My complaint is the terrible paint job. Tiny chips (a couple of dozen) are appearing mostly on the hood but also on the doors. The vehicle is a “2” series, made in Canada. Brought the vehicle to Toyota, they examined and said “road debris”. I showed them the chips on the side of the door and they had no answer. I’ve driven well over a million miles on personal vehicles and never saw anything like this. Great vehicle, but this is just too big of a flaw for me.

Side mirrors.

I love almost everything about my Rav. (This is my third Rav.) I am five feet tall. The driver seat does not go high enough so that the side mirrors are not directly interfering with turns. I do not recall having this problem with my other Ravs. My car is very easy to drive, get in and out of, and has good gas mileage.

I recommend this car for town driving, good views lots of safety features. I do not care for it as a road trip car because of the noise. My truck is quieter. If it were less noise it would be a great car.

It's great on mileage and so efficient. Not too big and not to small. Works perfect on rainy days in Houston. It is very spacious and seats fold down for additional room. It is also easy to clean and vacuum.

We like this vehicle and look forward to stepping up to another with more options. Dependable and great gas mileage. We like the body style and the sun roof. The middle arm rest could be extended forward a bit.

It's a Toyota!

This Rav4 is the 6th Toyota we've owned. It's as reliable as any other vehicle we have owned; foreign or domestic. Gas mileage is above average, price was excellent, and as it is a small SUV it's perfect for the wife for shopping and driving.

Over all I love my Rav4! I wish it was a little bigger, like the Highlander. I would like more extras : seat adjustments Driver & passenger. I'm having problems with voice controls!! Also, It would be great to have GPS - directions, etc. It does show traffic in area but it is not up to minute.

My Third Rav4

I love Toyota and I love the Rav4! I have owned three. My first was a 2005 and I loved the smallish size. Sadly, I was rear-ended and it was totaled. The second was a 2007 and it was my favorite! I loved that V6 engine! I wish they still made it. Now I have a 2015 Limited. I am thrilled to have heated seats and a sunroof. It is nice to have so much cargo space, but the car feels a bit too big for me. I'm a petite female and this is by far the largest Rav4 they've made. There are serious blind spots on the car that even my 6-foot husband complains about. It is my only serious complaint about this car. I love the all-direction adjustments the driver seat allows, but wish it would go higher - (petite) In summary, I still love my Rav but wish it were smaller like the old days and the blind spots are bad design.

Good small suv.

Great little car. Fun to drive and good on gas. Traveling on the freeway is quiet and comfortable considering it’s small engine. Awd works fine in the snow, too. The only major headache is the sun roof which leaks inside the car whenever the roof drains get plugged up. No mention of cleaning roof drain in manuals.
