I just bought my RAV4 like a year ago it’s the limited edition, it has the blind spot monitor system thing on the side mirrors but this thing keep having a problem and I when to Toyota to get it repair like 2 or 3 time and it still now slove the problem yet! Just today that thing have problem again! Urhhh idk what else I can say about that and I have 2 little ones to take care I can’t keep bringing my car to get it fix, I just don’t have that time! I don’t suggest buying toyota cars to my friends and family now.

RAV4 Review

Don’t like this RAV4 as well as I did my 2012. Hard to see the dash during daylight hours and the headlights are very poor. Would not buy another RAV4. The exterior design does not fair well in poor weather.

regrets..........

I have a frozen inside windshield when it freezing out, so there is a water leak, somewhere, that the dealership could not detect, since it wasn't freezing overnight that night. MPG via car and via math is off by at least 1 to 3 miles per gallon. Hatch doesn't always close tightly, since it's a push button to open/close. Dome light is on at times, no door open showing but when you slam the door at a stop light, it goes out. She only gets 20 mpg on freeway, during smooth sailing (no traffic) on eco mode. Been to 2 Toyota dealerships, not happy with their customer service.

Sort of a good car ,but poor dealership

After purchasing the rav 4, Coos Bay Toyota for warranty service did such a poor job, this is probably my last Toyota. I was so irritated by the way they took care of me and my car, that when I drive it , I have a magnetic sign that says " the blue turd from Coos Bay Toyota ". Like I said, last Toyota!

Ok, but kind of noisy

Kind of a rough vehicle for regular driving. Rather get a truck instead of the RV4. Not to gas convenience. Need more time to test it out and recommending weather good or bad. Vehicle is typically tough and rough.

Meh.

Good on gas but low on fuel capacity. Not very comfortable on longer than half hour trips. Cargo area is excellent. Controls, i.e. cruise, lights, radio, dashboard need better consideration. It is good in inclement weather.

I love my rav4. Traded in my 1999 Camry which I also loved. My only complaint on my rav4 would be the scout app. I needed to buy a new phone to get it to work. You really need to offer more than 1 navigation system

2017 ToyotaRav4, is a great car so far.

Comfortable, the color I wanted, back up camera, lane change detector, GPS, Bluetooth, no wind noise even with the sunroof open. Like the style, no tire cover in back.Love the lane change indicator, black interior. ( I have grandkids). Like that the back seats fold flat.

Very nice car

I love my Rav! Excellent car for the winter and summer! Smooth and reliable always! It’s a very comfortable car and gets good gas mileage as well! The back up camera is amazing and has a very wide range so you won’t miss something!

Love my 2017 Rav 4. Great gas mileage, back up camera, steering, just about everything.Exterior, color, dependable so far. Has some road noise. But I can live with it. Price was in range. Wheels are good looking.

Upholstery and mechanics are excellent, but...

I give this RAV4 a B+. It is dependable, overall well designed, has terrific quality in the upholstery, but there are areas of limited visiblity. I like to use the mirrors AND look over my shoulder before lane changes, but I find the right rear window limits visibility and the front end obscures front parking visibility. The real negative is the heater takes way too long to provide heat during winter. I freeze driving to work in the morning and the heat finally starts kicking in one block from the parking garage ( I regret not having heated seats).

My mistake.

This is my first and depending on the way this lease ends it could be my last or me being a returning customer. Honest service department and friendly people. The wait wasn’t that bad but I was told it could be an expensive bill depending what the outcome which was minimal. Thanks. Phil V.

Perfect vehicle for our needs for going from a 2 car to 1 car family...it the replacement for a 2013 Toyota Corolla & a 2007 Toyota Highlander

For us, it's the perfect combo of our previous 2 vehicles rolled into 1, perfect size & economy of the Corolla and still have the versatility of a SUV. At this point in our lives, it exactly fills all our vehicle needs for downsizing to a single vehicle.

RAV4 Hybrid still holding up well

I have had the RAV4 for 2 years. It runs well and I have had no mechanical problems with it. The only problem is that it runs so quietly that when I finish a trip I forget to turn it off. Offers good mileage

Good car, good quality, easy for mechanics to work on

I wish it had a bit more hp under the hood, but hey, it handles everything I ask of it. Especially like the sport shift since I used to drive a stick and miss it. It's great on gas for city driving compared to my old vehicle and you can downshift to get more power if you need it.

My 2017 RAV4

I find that my RAV4 is the right size for me. I’m able to move a few things and or people when necessary. I feel that it gets good mileage. Before the RAV4 I had my 2001 Toyota 4 Runner and really appreciated and enjoyed it for many years and then bought the 2014 RAV4. I feel Toyota is a good solid buy for me both have served me well.

Well built physically but not impressed with the voice recognition system.

Although I’m not impressed with the voice recognition system it’s good to know that they have improved and incorporated Apple CarPlay which is great. But my card doesn’t have that. It’s on the 2018 or newer. The only other thing about Toyota overall is the fact it when it starts raining and you turn on your windshield wipers should automatically turn on the headlights. But Toyotas have a switch where you can turn the auto headlights off so a lot of times people are driving these cars around at night time and they don’t realize their headlights are not on because interior lights are illuminated whether the headlights are on or not . Besides that whenever the switch is in auto a rain storm comes you have to physically turn on the lights because if they photocell sensing daylight will not allow the lights to come on unless you force them on. other than those issues I have it’s a great car. And it handles awesome now that I have new tires that are made for cornering. There’s just overall better traction and feeling of control when returning.
