Love my Honda CRV 2005 AWD

Love the CRV. It is great for weekend adventures. It is very good in the snow and ice. Great for carrying gear for camping, skiing, golf, etc. My dog likes to go for rides too. My car is also my office during the week, as I make house calls. It meets all my needs. It is reliable and comfortable, and still looks great.

Have Disliked this vehicle since week ONE

Hopefully later models are better. Both my wife and I have 'hated' the seats since we bought the car and tried to do our 1st road trip. Both of us wind up w/ our upper legs aching after about 2 hours of driving. So we use it only around town and for that it's fine. Bought another car for more lengthy trips. We both wish we'd just anti'd up for the Pilot

Few issues

Road noise unacceptable-ongoing gauge/electrical issues manageable, but a pain. Front seats lack comfort on longer drive

We like the car but find it does not have enough leg room for a 6 foot person on the passenger side of the car. Mileage is not great either.

Quality Car

Before buying our use 2005 CRV I researched a noted car rating report and found that Honda enjoyed the highest quality rating of all the other cars on the market.

Perfect for my needs

My only complaint about my '05 Honda is the difficulty reading the clock, the odometer and the temperature gauge. There needs to be a brighter background light. I'm sure that has been corrected in the newer models. My favorite car of the many I have owned.

Great car

I have over 250k miles on it. With regular maintenance it's still going but I did have to replace the transmission. My sister Toyota Camry has over 400k miles and has all the original parts. Just say in....

All-around perfect car for my needs

Everything about my 2005 Honda CRV is perfect for my needs. I appreciate it maneuverability, visibility and the cargo space. My only complaint is that I cannot see the dashboard numbers in the daylight. I am sure that that has been rectified in the later models.

Airbag

I love love love my crv...but the four stars vs five is because of my airbag recalls of which twice at least I never got a call back for the free replacement part and labor to fix a recall. I wish if they send you a recall notice they’d have the part so I wouldn’t have to wait for it to never show up and then forget about it...

Better car at 140,000 miles than all my Cadillacs in previous years.

In addition to the 149,000 miles showing it had been towed behind our motorhome about 60,000 miles

Reliable, comfortable

We have had our CR -V for over 7 years and love the stability, line of vision and the way it handles. We feel very safe and have had no major problems with it.

Honda CR-V

I have found my CR-V (my fifth Honda) to be exceptional as to reliability and overall quality. It has been trouble-free for many years. But I plan to replace it during 2016 (although I may keep it as an extra vehicle). I will not be purchasing another Honda. I have tried for over 6 months to obtain printed brochures for the two Honda models that I was considering (CR-V and Pilot), and have been told at several dealerships that Honda isn't printing information any longer. Too bad...we use the brochures to get detailed information to make buying decisions. We plan to look at other makes that DO print information (Mazda, Audi, for example).
