Started out iffffy! Then got worse.

Drove this car home 12/31/19.This is when I actually discovered the car had been in wrecks. I had to take it back twice for repairs. I asked for paper work on the repairs and they said they would email it and follow up. Never heard from them. From Jan-May it was averaging 22-25 miles per gallon. This was from day one. After that, it did not get a lot of miles on it because I didn't have winter tires on it. Then I took it to Montana for its first road trip in May. I was so disappointed with the gas mileage I wanted to drive the corolla again. Fast forward to the arrival in Montana. While checking the oil and the air filter I discovered a huge ball of fluff behind the motor. (a little smaller than a volleyball) Hum... this definitely was the source of the bad gas mileage. On the way home from Montana I averaged 31-32 mpg. That has been the bright spot so far with this car. Not exactly all I was hoping for in my "new car" purchase.

CRV

I was this last June 28, 2021 to do the inspection and take action and what my CRV needs. The server and serves was perfectly fine till, I try to use my CD player driving back home and it was brock I could not use my CD player. I notes that for some reason it was move and is not assemble as it was before I get there for the serves. I don't know what to say.

I like the the new CR-V... but!

Where to start... I like the new CR-V but several things have come to my attention since my purchase. I wish I could have test driven the car more to find any drawbacks. The biggest concern was the location of the foot brake... I find it interferes with my left foot. The other issue is that the steering wheel doesn't extend or lowers enough for my liking. On a long trip this can make it very tiring... and whats this with the nav system, that needs some work too.

honda vs Toyota

Honda has poor a/c compared to Toyota. My Rav4 was amuch more comfortable ride. Honda is noisy and just over a year old. Wish I had my Rav4 back.

Could be excellent

Good gas mileage and cargo space. Not good on the back or the ears. Very loud road noise. Something we didn’t realize until after we bought it. Fix the road noise issue and get some comfortable seats and this car would be excellent. My other car is a Dodge Charger. Hardly any road noise even though it sits lower to the ground than the CRV. Also, the seats in the charger are very comfortable.

Not that great

There are more safety features. on my Buick Encore than on this vehicle. In addition, this vehicle is not as good on gas mileage. The good thing about this vehicle is that you can store and transport many items and it is good if you have a large family.

Used to be a big Honda fan

Enjoy the vehicle. However, its the first of many Honda’s I have owned that required major repairs. The transmission went out @ 4 yrs and only 70,000 miles. Because the failing part is internal it required a 5k replacement bill instead of a more common cheaper one. Very disappointed that Honda did not stand behind their product for a long time customer.

2016 CR-V EXL

Great car! Would be 5 stars if the trunk had automatic lift. Seems silly to spend another $5k to go to the Touring just to include the lift. Should come with the lower models since most people who buy this probably are going to have or have kids and this would just make sense for that reason.

Honda owner for life

Love the CRV. I've always driven Honda's and I can't say enough good things about them. Great gas mileage, comfortable, lots of cargo room.

New Car

I love my 2016 CRV. I had my last CRV for 15 years, with over 200,000 miles on it and still running well. I expect at least the same performance from my new car. I really appreciate the back-up display.

Good Choice

After checking out a number of other models and makes of vehicles, we decided on the CRV. There are a couple of things we miss from our previous car, but overall this is a good fit for us. It would be nice if the front passenger seat had the same amenities as the driver's seat such as the lumbar support and electric controls. The back seat area is roomier than our previous car, which is definitely a plus. Overall we really like this car.

Very versatile!

We use our CR-V for everything! Dependable and the the perfect car. I don't like the blind-spot that there is a camera for on the passenger side- but the overall look and functionality makes up for it. And I couldn't imagine a better design.

Good mileage ,Dependable.Over all a good value. I would certainly consider a new crv if I were looking fora new vehicle,Nothing more to say Only have 17000 miles , I expect to keep this vehicle for many years.

Love, the Second Time Around

My new car and I are just beginning to date but I'm sure we will have a long and lasting relationship. I'm slowly learning all the new features on the car. It is the little things that count--like turning the radio up and down on the steering wheel! I like the comfort of the car and also also that it handles so well.

great Honda car

Happy I bought this auto. The car runs very good and starts with on push. The suspension is bit hard but I think it is the way all are made. The gas tank is not that big in number of gallons because the miles per gallon is not that great (on my car).
