AC System Needs Improving

It's a good vehicle and gets great gas mileage. AC System could be improved to ensure everyone in the vehicle are comfortable. If AC is on max, hard to have a decent conversation and be able to hear people without shouting.

Nice Car Overall - Not Perfect

Safety features are great. Winter - defrost is too slow and so is heater. The vents are not very giving when directing air flow. Would be nice to have AC vents for rear passengers. When filling gas tank at the pump it always shuts off before tank is full ( frustrating). Cheap floor mats - show wear quick on driver side.

Best car I've ever owned

48,000+ miles along, I still love my 2023 Hyundai Elantra. I bought it for three main reasons - it gets around 40 mpg reliably with mostly highway driving, it has plenty of leg room for the front and rear seats, and the MSRP was very reasonable. Along with that, it's been very reliable and has a comfortable ride. And the safety features, which I wasn't all that sure of when purchasing, have proven to be helpful. The collision avoidance even stopped me quickly (at low speed) when someone pulled out in front of me, avoiding a minor accident. One of these systems needs some getting used to - the vehicle automatically brakes if the car not far in front of you slows down or you get too close. But sometimes when you change lanes, it still slows down. You can disable the slowdown by either tapping the brake or hitting the gas, otherwise you may come almost to a stop with car behind you, but none in front of you (except in the other lane). There's really not much of anything I can say bad about my Elantra for its price. It could maybe use a few more storage areas around the driver area, and somewhere to attach your cell phone in the dash area, but these are pretty minor things.

1.Market value is very soft - according to even Hyundai internal data - trad-in value for just 2 years less than half of the pric 2. Seats not so comfy

I have only had a couple of issues with the vehicle.

I am not happy about the real lights having moisture in them and growing mold and the horn issue that is happening again. Besides that I have not had any issues with the car.
