2023 Elantra review

Entry level 4door sedan , reasonable prices with great gas mileage. It doesn’t have a driver side grab handle overhead to assist ease of exit for poor mobility driver. I wish Hyundai would add that grab handle as other models all have them. E- cvt seems smooth.

The cheap plastic used to build/form the entire dashboard/display and console (where aux/cig lighter and shifter is) is awful and creaks/squeaks consistently with contact of any surface besides flush concrete

Great more recent economy car

Great miles per gallon, you can buy a minimum version that takes out any optional features but keeps AC and Bluetooth which is great cost-wise as well. Very reliable on its own and you can get good upkeeping services

I have an ongoing issue I need corporates help please . 707-655-1867

I have received notification on my cars screen that system were working improperly. The repairs were never handled after multiple attempts to repair under warranty. Now they decided not to help. This is a known issue with my model vehicle and I am only seek fairness and repair as the problem has persisted without proper maintenance. The entire sevcice team has been fired due to their poor professionalism during my warranty.at Vallejo dealership. The new team completely understands this cause and affect. Awaiting supervisor assistance from the customer care team. Please help. I have been seeking assistance currently for over 2 weeks, without my vehicle.

I love my vehicle. This is my fourth Elantra!

I would suggest that the hood design now is odd, cannot any longer flip the windshield wipers up to clean under them. It's a pain. I also wish they would change the cupholders! I noticed the 2025 limited model has a better cup holder area. The Nline has a weird little cup in one that attaches and sticks to any cup you put it in and when you pull the cup out of the holder, the whole thing comes with it. Air vents for the back seat area needed! Also, please add the floor mat attachments to the passenger and back mats to keep them from sliding when used. The drivers one is a nice feature!

It was the worst purchase of my life.

It was the worst purchase of my life. Since I bought the car, I've only spent money on maintenance. It breaks down all the time, and Hyundai service never fixes any of the problems.

Car has been a disappointment

I had a 2003 Sonata that was a wonderful car for nearly 20 years with minimal issues. My 2023 Elantra, however, shows the quality of Hyundai vehicles has declined significantly. Less than 2 years old and less than 10,000 miles, the car became inoperable due to a transmission issue. The issue took nearly a month to fix from my local dealer with poor customer service. Very disappointed in the car.

My First Car

After I graduated from college, I was going to be moving to a new city. Knowing this, I wanted to get a reliable car that wouldn't require much work other than regular maintenance and upkeep. My relatives had American made cars that were constantly in the shop, and my household family had a 2015 Hyundai Sonata that ran fine and didn't need much, if any, mechanical work. Hyundai was one of the first brands I had in mind when looking into new cars but ideally, I was going to get a Toyota Corolla due to Toyota's renowned long-term life and reliability on their cars. Due to the car market in 2022, the only choices that were appealing to me was a Hyundai Elantra or a Kia Forte/Kia Soul. I liked the Kia cars that I saw and sat in, but the Elantra felt like the more modern and sleeker car. Apple CarPlay, Remote Start on the key fob, and the warranty sealed the deal for me to buy my Elantra. Nearly 3 years later, I do not regret my choice of vehicle and am glad I went with my Elantra. Highway gas mileage is elite and the car handles great. The car is small, but you can pack a lot of items with the back seats folded down.

My service experience

I wasn't very happy with the service. The day I bought my car in I got a text that I would have to keep my car over the holiday weekend. Im an Uber driver and doesn't work. I bought my car in Monday and took a whole day to look at my car and determine that I need a part for my horn that wasn't working. It took 3 days to get part. Kind of surprising considering that Hyundai sent out letters regarding horns that weren't working. You would think they would have the parts for that. I don't blame Pablo who works for you. It's the tools that you give him.

Elantra, is fun to drive & UNBELIEVABLE on gas! 45.5 miles is my highest level of savings! Damn impressive for a car that ISN'T an EV or Hybrid.
