Not the worst but definitely not the best

I’ve had the car for about a year and it’s tolerable. The driving experience isn’t great it takes a while for it to get up to speed. But overall it’s aesthetically pleasing so I guess I can’t complain

Horrible on gas

I'd much rather my Hyundai Elantra over the Tucson. The Tucson is horrible on gas. This vehicle I have to fill up every other day and to fill up cost about $50 a tank and the engine sound weak. The sub has no power to the car.meaning it's slow. my other car got up this one you have to Floor it to go anywhere.

Bad interior, too small, and all wheel drive is awful

Interior material not pet friendly. Hair gets stuck. All wheel drive terrible. Almost killed myself on just a few inches of snow. My front wheel drive was better . I wish I bought a different vehicle but really needed one at the time and didn't have many options in my price range.

Poor hyundai service

Very poor dealer service. Accompanied with 2021 is 3 year maintenance free, but only if u drive a requirement of 7500 miles per year. Ridiculous!! I only drive 1500 miles so if I want basic service I had to pay full price... a hyundai gimmick!!!!!

Disappointing Experience

Problems with substandard brake rotors, concerns with the safety of the cruise control malfunctioning, climate control system doesn't maintain the selected operation mode, and uncomfortable seating if you do any long drives. Unfortunately, Hyundai maintenance and Hyundai USA do not have the wherewithal to address the problems.

Small

Overall, the vehicle is too small for my needs. I am not a tall man and yet my head hits the top of the roof entering the vehicle. Also, the back area is small and barely enough to accommodate groceries.

Runs great but engine burns too much oil

Be careful. If you get the wrong engine, you won't know until 60k miles and they run you through the ringer and try every loophole so they don't have to pay to fix your engine. If you are lucky, you may get a better running car, so I hear. I was not that lucky.

This car can easily get stolen.

Hyundai is not offered a buyback or a fix for so long that insurance companies will no longer insure them. The car itself is a good car, but without a fix Hyundai, let this go on far too long that this car needs to be gotten rid of.

ride and quality for the price wish more options available as standard on vehicle not at extra cost

Reliable need more features included in without extra cost to the vehicle issues with the Bluetooth not connecting to the phone repeatedly and not coming thru with speaking directions at all times trying to use. Randomly talks no rhyme or reason why not everytime spoke with dealership about said they weren't sure as to why

Not My Car

The Tucson is not the vehicle for us. We downsized from a minivan to the Tucson and the change was too severe. Our minivan was loaded the Tucson was basic. I fell into the car dealer trap and allowed myself to fall prey to the wrong vehicle. Everything we experienced during the sales process was stereotypical of buying a car. It was literally a cliche of every negative characteristic of going through the process.

Should have checked first!

I ended up with the 2021 Tucson Ultimate AWD and it is my belief that you get great "bang for the buck" in relation to standard options for the price compared to the competition, then you toss in a great standard warranty and 3 years of service to top it all off. After driving it for a month now, I am not impressed with the power, or the gas mileage at all!!! I am averaging 19-21 mpg (should be 24++) and it is sluggish in certain driving situations, one would think the mileage was low because the car was fast, this is a giant bummer for what otherwise is a really nice ride. Personally, I should have waited for the new body style coming out (which I know they will deal with mileage and responsiveness).

I went from a 3 row seating vehicle to a small suv for a change. I was hoping to save on gas and have a new reliable vehicle. This vehicle is not as comfortable as I thought, I am 5.1 and its not easy to find the right fit unless I drive the car around for a couple of days. It also lags quite a bit unless I always use the sport mode the trunk is hard to close with 1 arm, wish I would have looked into hands free, when my kids sit in the back seat they can't see outside the seat is too low. Next time, I will test drive the car I want more than once. I also considered the KONA but never test drove the car.

Love my Tucson

This is my third Hyundai I wasn’t aware that in order to get Sirius radio, I would have to purchase the vehicle that cost more. That added lane swerve alerts but took away the beep on the back up camera and the beep and flash on the side windows. Also there is no in car opening for gasoline and trunk

Love the car, but the seat's head rest is very uncomfortable. Bad in gas and the seat belt buckles is too short and hard to get to when strapping the kids in. The 2017 model has a better handle on the road than the 2021. Really don't like the lane sensors--I've deactivated the function so I can stay focus on the road.

Tucson 2020

This is my first time owning a SUV, and although I like it, I don't love it. I think there are a few things that they can include in their basic package, for example, I think the truck being manual is a downfall, I think every car should have that feature in my opinion. Also, there has been a few little noises, and glitches I've noticed for being a new car. If I could trade it in right now, I would. I would upgrade to a more equipped vehicle. the size in itself is great but I do like my cars a little bigger. Overall, can't wait to upgrade in a year or so since its a lease.

Not my best choice

Def. not the best choice for being my first SUV. I do not love it and I wish I could take it back. I’m glad I didn’t buy it. It’s an okay vehicle to get around but I wish I would of done more window shopping and not just went with the fact that it was around my budget

I am not really sure as of yet. I paid 40K for this Tuscon. I don't know if it has a CD player and for 40K it doesn't have remote start, so time will tell.

A highly priced SUV. It doesn't have remote start and unsure if it has a cd player. I was charged 4K and don't have a clue as to what I paid for. No one pays full MSRP but I did. I was unsure of pricing. I always negotiate but didn't have an option. I was rushed. I felt like once I was approved for the loan they pushed the sale.

My 2021 tucson

Only two things like is heated steering wheel and sitting up higher than sedan. My mistake for purchasing but will not purchase another Hyundai..................................do like warranty but will probably trade within a year.
