Economy Class All the Way

The Tucson delivers what it promises - no frill travel and good mileage The car that I bought as 'new' looked and felt old after only a month with cracks appearing in the lining of the cargo area. Once it gets going after cold start jitters, it will operate economically and fairly comfortably.

My Review.

Nice vehicle with some drawbacks. It is underpowered. Could use a turbo like the Kona and others. I bought the top level in the Tucson. Expected a little better interior as well. Fairly nice but could use less plastic.

Tucson

I do not like having this suv, don’t like how high I sit, how it handles and it’s not a car. It doesn’t satisfy my need for speed, the storage is ok just awkward. Don’t like that I have to manually open the hatch in the back.

Fuel Efficient

This vehicle is fuel efficient but I consider that pick up is too low. And the Interior room is small than I expected. Its SUV but I think its not that good on hills. Exterior look is good and compact.

Standard equipment

SE stands for standard equipment. When I asked to add fog lights I was told that it can’t be done without upgrading to a higher package. Cabin noise is high, engine power is low, seats are unsupportive and become worse as you go.

Nothing outstanding about this vehicle other than warranty. Ride is average. Storage space is average. Had more amenities with a Ford Escape for the same money. Interior is average. Engine performance is average. Transmission performance on cruise is below average.

Average. Auto locks are a pain

Average, poor side mirror vision, not enough charging ports, more room for driver, better access to center cup holders, Auto locks are a pain, paint is good, Other than that all is average or comfort, ride, appearance, styling, good head room, good trunk area, OK tires, easy to add fluids.

Good vehicle for the price Styling could be improved. Kia much more stylish Oversll good performance though. Would consider Kia because of the f design Kia appears richer looking compared to Hyundai.

My 4th Hyundai. Don't love it like I did the others. Just disappointed. May look for something else when the lease expires. The survey took too long to complete and is very confusing in the way it is set up.

Me experience

This car for the most part is good. If the basis features are in the works to become standard then it will bump up my expectations. The commercial of the car is more exciting to look at than to actually drive the car.

very poor dealership sales and finance people-never added extras that I requested-not enough after market parts-no side door moldings or protective panels-engine is far too small for car-looks and rides nice-needs more cabin storage

Not what I expected

Engine has no power. Fuel mileage is not great. Appearance isn’t the best. The car has absolutely no power going up an incline. The vehicle shifts hard when accelerating. The trunk space in the vehicle is basically non existent

2021 Tucson

I like the styling and features of our 2021 Tucson but the driveabilty and performance is not nearly as good as our old 2018 Tucson.I have to admit I avoid driving our Tucson and prefer to drive our 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT instead. We've had the 2021 Tucson for about a year now and it only has 5K miles - it is just very aggravating and not much fun to drive.

It's ok

If the vehicle quality is improved this will be a good vehicle to own. Road noise and oil leak really annoyed me. Not able to take this vehicle in high way as I m not able to merge with the ongoing traffic (poor acceleration). I almost had close call one time.

Not horrible, not great

Had to trade in previous Tuscon due to DCT transmission issues in less than three years of purchase (New). Fuel economy is not great at all. Acceleration is down right trash. Must be driven in Sport mode just to get out of its own way. Merging onto a highway...? Forget it. You had better have it in Sport Mode, and stomp the gas pedal.

2022 far superior and perfect timing to upgrade. Rick case terrible service wait time. Poor sitting area. Wouldn’t buy from them again. Place needs a remodel. Not the best inventory at the time. Nothing more to say

Tucson

Had an engine defect - engine was replaced at no cost but took over a month-just didn’t feel like it was safe to drive after the experience-car was only 2 years old - there should be a recall on this - my dealership had a lot of vehicles in with the same problem-never got a clear explanation off the issue. Also exterior paint was not good quality- it was chipping a lot again the car was only 2 years old.

If it is for you then great!

I purchased this vehicle with the understanding that I was going to get better MPG and it was an over all better vehicle than the one I had at the time. if I had the chance to do everything over again I would not have purchased my Hyundai.

Good car. It’s the dealership that is the issue. I have a few issues with my car but the prices to get it fixed from the maintenance department at Hyundai is ridiculous. I do enjoy my car but i want an electric car now
