Review of Tuscon

Love the car except for 2 major flaws: 1 - the touch to lock the vehicle is unacceptable. At best, it is so slow to respond that you try it again only to realize it worked. 75% of the time I give up and dig out the key fob to do it manually. Prefer the manual push button that was instantaneous and tactile. 2 - the heating and cooling system is also unacceptable. The system indicates AC and blows cold air when it is cold outside. Conversely, the AC blows hot air when it is hot out as it modulates cabin temp to set temp. The old damper in the fresh air vent system worked perfect for 50 years AND did NOT require constant manipulation on the vehicle control board that take your eyes off the road too long! The damper lever could easily be adjusted without taking eyes off the road. The computer screen is cluttered and difficult to adjust with your car bouncing around on the road!

Happy Hyundai Tucson

I love my Hyundai. It is comfortable, easy to handle and has great pickup when needed. The car size is perfect for me. The dashboard is easy to navigate. I couldn’t be happier with its performance. I have never been this happy with the other vehicles that we have owned.

Great gas mileage

Overall the vehicle is good. Good pick up, easy handling, excellent brakes. The bad very uncomfortable seats, should have simple item's as standard like auto dimming rear view mirror. Also under 30k miles replaced horn twice, gas door would not open, fuel pressure switch had to be replaced. Not good

Failure at dealer to fix seat cooling fan dr. Side

No part no fix it is going on 2 weeks waiting on a simple fan replacement driver side . Why would I consider a newer vehicle if you can’t get a simple part replaced. Was at dealership for one week without a vehicle. Now I have vehicle but still waiting for part to come in and a phone call to reschedule repair

Lipstick on a pig

Offers great features for the price. The engine is extremely unresponsive and borderline dangerous. Trying to accelerate to highway speed is a scary ride. Passengers feel every little bump on the road. Maybe shocks were optional? The pretty features are masking a lawn mower engine and an uncomfortable ride.
