2025 Hyundai Tucson XRT

Overall good but still behind a Toyota or Honda. Pick up is not good and struggles in cold temperatures. Otherwise a good SUV.

Quirks aboutTucson

I am overall quite happy with the Tucson but there are several annoying features which include strange aspects of electric windows and tailgates, automatic start/stop, and limitations on rear view mirrors. Also some features of electronic control systems could be easier to use.

Two years with a Tucson

Overall has been a good vehicle. Only service issue was an electrical fault and the dealer fixed it. I prefer a radio and A/C control with knobs to a touch controls, but realize this is the future. The turning radius isn't as good as I thought a smaller vehicle would be. The automatic engine shutoff at stop lights is EXTREMELY annoying and is about the STUPIDEST feature I could ever imagine on a vehicle. It is a safety hazard when entering traffic from a side street as the power is cut right when you need it. Whoever thought up this feature is an idiot and I will stand in front of them and say it to their face.
